Maharashtra PG AYUSH Counselling is the process through which candidates seeking admission to postgraduate Ayush courses in Maharashtra are allocated seats in various colleges. The counselling process is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. It is a centralized process that ensures fair and transparent seat allocation based on the candidates’ merit and preferences.

Maharashtra PG AYUSH Counselling Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria Specifics
NationalityThe candidate must be an Indian National. Proof of nationality can be a Nationality Certificate issued by District Magistrate or Additional District Magistrate or Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, a valid passport, or School Leaving (SSC)/Jr. College Leaving Certificate of HSC/12th Std indicating Indian nationality.
QualificationThe candidate should have passed the qualifying examination from the state of Maharashtra (except for Out of State Category) and completed a one-year rotatory internship on or before the day of Document Verification.
Minimum PercentileCandidates should have obtained a minimum of 50th percentile or more marks in AIAPGET. In the case of constitutional reservation, the minimum percentile is 40th. Persons with disabilities under the General Category must secure not less than the 45th percentile marks in AIAPGET. Please note that these eligibility criteria are subject to change as per the decisions of the Government of India, AYUSH Ministry.
RegistrationCandidates must produce the Registration of M.C.I.M (Maharashtra Council of Indian Medicine) at the time of the Document Verification process. Candidates from the All India Quota should either produce Registration or proof of application for Registration with MCIM.

AACCC AYUSH PG Counselling

The AACCC (All India AYUSH Counselling Committee) is responsible for conducting the counselling process for admission to PG AYUSH courses across India. Step 1- Registration:

  • Review and recheck your choices before final submission.
  • Lock your choices before the deadline as no changes can be made afterward.

  • Have your original documents verified, and submit the necessary photocopies.

Step 4: Rounds For Counselling

Seat Allotment - Round 1:

  • Based on your merit rank and filled choices, AACCC will conduct the first round of seat allotment.
  • Check the seat allotment result on the AACCC website using your login credentials.
  • If allotted a seat, either accept or upgrade the allotted seat.

Reporting and Seat Acceptance:

  • If you accept the allotted seat, report to the allotted institute within the specified timeframe.
  • Complete the admission formalities, pay the required fees, and submit the necessary documents.
  • Collect the admission receipt and seat acceptance letter from the institute.

Seat Allotment - Round 2:

  • If you choose to upgrade or participate in the second round, AACCC will conduct the second round of seat allotment.
  • Check the seat allotment result and follow the reporting and seat acceptance process as mentioned in Step 5 if allotted a seat.


Seat Allotment - Mop-Up Round:

  • In case of any vacant seats, a mop-up round may be conducted.
  • If eligible and interested, participate in the mop-up round and follow the seat acceptance process if allotted a seat.


Reporting to the Allotted Institute:

  • If allotted a seat in any round, report to the allotted institute within the specified timeframe.
  • Complete the admission formalities, pay the remaining fees, and submit the required documents.
