Odisha AYUSH Counselling Process
Step 1: Registration
- Candidates need to register on the official website of the designated authority for Odisha Ayush Counselling (https://odishajee.com/).
- Provide the required personal and academic details during the registration process.
Step 2: Document Verification
- Visit the designated verification center along with the necessary documents for verification.
- Documents may include educational certificates, NEET scorecard, domicile proof, category certificate (if applicable), etc.
Step 3: Publication of Merit List
- The authority prepares and publishes a merit list based on the NEET scores and eligibility criteria of the candidates.
- The merit list is published on the official website of the designated authority.
Step 4: Choice Filling and Locking
- Candidates included in the merit list can log in to the counseling portal and fill their preferred choices of AYUSH courses and colleges.
- After selecting the choices, candidates must lock them within the specified time frame.
Step 5: Seat Allotment
- Based on the merit list, choices filled, and availability of seats, the authority conducts the seat allotment process.
- The seat allotment result is published on the official website.
Step 6: Reporting to the Allotted College
- Candidates who are allotted a seat must report to the respective college within the specified time period.
- Carry the necessary documents, admission fee, and complete the admission formalities.
Step 7: Second Round of Counseling (if applicable)
- If there are vacant seats after the first round, a second round of counseling may be conducted.
- Eligible candidates who did not participate in the first round or wish to upgrade their allotted seat can participate in the second round.
Step 8: Spot Round Counseling (if applicable)
- If there are still vacant seats after the second round, a spot round counseling may be conducted.
- Candidates who have not been allotted any seat so far or those who have not registered for previous rounds can participate in the spot round based on availability.
Odisha AYUSH Counselling Document Required
- For online verification, candidates must upload scanned images of the following original certificates/documents in pdf format.
- Certificate and mark sheet from the 10th grade +2 Sc. certificate and mark sheet
- Certificate of completion of college/ school (Leaving Certificate)
- Odisha nativity/resident certificate (Form–III, see Govt. of Odisha Rule–3)
- SC/ST The competent authority, the Government of Odisha, issues a birth certificate (see Rule-8(I)).
- The Government of Odisha's Family Welfare Department has given a green card.
- The adequate authority has issued an EWS Certificate.
AACCC Counselling Process
AYUSH UG counselling refers to the counseling process for undergraduate programs in the field of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy. These programs are collectively known as AYUSH courses and are offered by various colleges and universities in India. The counselling process for AYUSH UG courses is conducted by the respective state and central counseling authorities (AACCC).
The online counselling for the allocation of 15% All India Quota Seats in Undergraduate (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) courses at Government/Government-aided Ayurveda/Siddha/Unani/Homoeopathy Colleges, Deemed Universities (100%), Central Universities/National Institutes is being conducted by the AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. On the other hand, candidates seeking admission through the 85% state quota for AYUSH courses should apply to the respective state counselling authorities.
AACCC – UG Counselling
- 15% All India Quota UG (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) seats under Govt./Govt. aided institute of all States/ Union Territories.
- 100% UG (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) seats under National/ Central Institutes.
- 100% UG (BAMS) seats under Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
- 50% BUMS seats of AMU, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.
- 50% BAMS & BHMS seats of NEIA&H, Shilong, Meghalaya.
- 100% UG (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) seats of all Deemed Universities.
- 100% UG seats (15% All India Quota + 85% Delhi Quota) of ASU & H Institutes under Delhi University as per eligibility conditions provided by the University.
