Delhi AYUSH Counselling 2026 is the NEET UG 2026 based admission process for BAMS, BUMS and BHMS courses in Delhi. The admission process is not handled by a single counselling authority. Depending on the college and type of seat, admissions are conducted through the University of Delhi (DU), Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU/IPU) and the Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC).
The official DU Faculty of Medical Sciences has published the UG admission information for BAMS, BUMS and BHMS, while GGSIPU has also issued its counselling notices for NEET-based admissions. For candidates looking at DU colleges, the counselling structure includes the 85% Delhi Quota and the 15% All India Quota. DU has already released its tentative schedule for BHMS under the 85% Delhi Quota, with registration beginning on 17 September 2026 and the Round 1 result scheduled for 5 October 2026.
GGSIPU is conducting its own centralized online counselling for its BAMS and BHMS programmes, and its Round 1 BHMS process has already moved ahead, with the university issuing subsequent instructions for fee payment, willingness, document verification and reporting. AACCC conducts counselling for 15% AIQ seats in Government/Government-aided AYUSH colleges, as well as 100% seats in Central Universities/National Institutes and Deemed Universities.
The process also differs between DU and GGSIPU. DU candidates have to complete the prescribed online registration, upload documents, pay the applicable programme-wise registration fee, check the merit list and report to the allotted college with original documents. At GGSIPU, candidates have to enrol for centralized online counselling, fill and arrange their choices, and follow the applicable fee payment, willingness, online verification and reporting requirements.

There are two levels of eligibility. Counselling eligibility means you have qualified NEET UG 2026. Course and college eligibility means your Class 12 marks, region and category also match the rules.

Delhi AYUSH Counselling Registration Process
Delhi AYUSH Counselling 2026 registration is fully online. Use the same mobile number and email ID you gave during NEET UG 2026 registration.
DU Registration Steps
- Open https://faumadmission.uod.ac.in/index.php, the link given on https://fmsc.du.ac.in/.
- Register as a new candidate. Enter your name exactly as it appears in NEET UG 2026 and your date of birth.
- Fill the Personal Section, including category details. Your PwBD category cannot differ from what you chose in NEET. CW candidates must select the CW priority carefully.
- Fill the Academic Section with Class 10 and Class 12 marks. Enter theory and practical marks separately.
- Upload the required documents in the prescribed size and format.
- Check the Preview and edit if needed. Preview opens only after the mandatory uploads.
- Pay the registration fee through the payment gateway on your dashboard. Use Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card or UPI.
- Submission is complete once the payment is realised. No edits are allowed after this.
- Provide your preferences, which is the last step of the application form.
- Save the application form printout and fee receipt. You need them at reporting.
Apply separately for each program (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS) and pay the fee for each.
IPU Registration Steps
- Enrol for centralized online counselling on https://ipu.admissions.nic.in within the notified period.
- Enter personal, academic and contact details. A login ID and password are generated.
- Upload documents, including your category certificate if you claim a reserved seat.
- Check all details and take a printout or screenshot of the registration form.
- Fill choices during the choice filling window.
Enrolment is mandatory for choice filling. IPU does not charge a counselling participation fee for online centralized counselling.

At DU reporting, bring the registration form printout, provisional allotment letter, original certificates, two sets of self-attested photocopies and three recent passport size photographs. The college keeps original certificates and does not return them.
Delhi AYUSH Counselling 2026 Choice Filling
Delhi AYUSH Counselling 2026 choice filling is the step where you rank your preferred courses and colleges.
- DU: Preferences come after submitting the application form. The dates for choice filling and locking are To be Notified.
- IPU: Choice filling is compulsory. Log in after enrolment, pick from all institute and course combinations and arrange them in your order of preference.
- Fill as many choices as possible. IPU warns that too few choices can leave you without a seat.
- Save your choices and take a printout.
- Once the window closes, the saved choices are used for allotment.
- IPU allows you to add, delete or modify choices after Round 1 for later rounds.
Lock your choices before the deadline. Unsaved or unlocked choices can leave you out of allotment.
Delhi AYUSH Counselling Rounds
- Round 1: DU registers you, publishes merit lists and declares the Round 1 result. IPU candidates choose Freeze or Float. Float keeps the current seat and allows an upgrade. Freeze stops further upgrades.
- Round 2: DU publishes the Round 2 merit list and holds reporting. IPU lets you add, delete or modify choices after paying the Round 1 fee. IPU Round 2 dates are To be Notified.
- Round 3 or Sliding Round: DU lists Round 1 to Round 3 in its prospectus. Round 3 dates are To be Notified. IPU Round 3 is the Sliding Round. Only candidates who paid the Part Academic Fee, did not freeze and did not withdraw can take part. Reserved category seats convert to unreserved here if the reserved merit runs out.
- Stray Vacancy Round: DU fills seats left after Round 3 through the Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates who registered and took part in earlier rounds without an allotment can join. IPU runs online spot rounds if seats remain, with a Rs. 500 fee per round. Offline spot rounds follow if seats still stay vacant.
Exit rules: DU cancels only through the online mode, and once you accept a DU seat you cannot surrender it. IPU allows online withdrawal within the notified dates, with refund as per UGC policy.
Delhi AYUSH Counselling 2026 Admission Process
At DU, the steps run in this order.
- Provisional merit list is published.
- Final seat allotment list is published and you download the provisional allotment letter.
- Report to the allotted college with all originals within the schedule.
- After the college approves your documents, download the provisional admission letter.
- Pay the admission fee within the stipulated time.
- The college confirms your filled seat to the Delhi University Computer Centre.
At IPU, pay the Part Academic Fee, complete online verification, print the allotment letter, then report to the college with the admission slip, allotment letter, fee receipt and documents. Pay any balance fee there. Non-reporting cancels the admission.
Reporting and Document Verification
Documents are checked twice. IPU checks uploaded documents online after allotment, and the institute re-checks the originals when you report. DU checks originals physically at the allotted college.
- A medical board at the college examines every admitted student for fitness under NMC norms.
- Missing or wrong documents cancel the seat and the fee is not refunded.
- Fake documents lead to cancellation at any stage.
- All admissions stay provisional until the university regularises them.
Delhi AYUSH Counselling 2026 Merit List
DU prepares the merit list from NEET UG 2026 only. The ranking uses All India Rank, category rank and seat availability. The UR merit list includes everyone, so SC, ST, OBC-NCL and EWS candidates appear in it if their rank qualifies. At IPU, allotment follows merit, category, region and your filled choices.

After allotment:
- Check the result in your login. Nobody sends a personal message.
- Download the provisional allotment letter.
- At IPU, pay the Part Academic Fee, submit willingness (Freeze or Float) and complete online verification.
- At DU, report to the college with originals in the reporting window.
If a DU candidate takes no action, DU treats it as declining the seat, and the candidate cannot join the next round.
