Jharkhand Ayush Counselling Procedure in charge body is the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECE Board). Admission to Ayush courses such as BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS is dependent on NEET scores, and only NEET students are eligible to apply or participate in Ayush Jharkhand Counselling. The NEET-UG scorecard will be approved by Jharkhand’s varied government and private Ayurvedic/Homoeopathic & Unani institutions.

Jharkhand Ayush Counselling Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed NEET (UG) 2023 and meet the following eligibility requirements:

Educational Criteria:

The candidate must have passed the qualifying test in PCB/Bio-technology and English separately, with a combined mark of at least 50 % in PCB/Bio-technology.

Residential Criteria:

The candidate must be an Indian citizen and a Jharkhand local/permanent resident. The “Local Resident of Jharkhand” has been defined and identified in the Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasa Department’s 7/Aa. Niti (Sarvdaliaye Baithak) 27/2002 (Khand)ka.-3198/, dated 18.04.2016.

The Board’s website has a copy of the Notification in the Downloads section. A candidate must upload a Local Resident Certificate in the right format, issued by the competent authorities [Circle Officer or Sub Divisional Officer – (Civil) or Dy. Commissioner of the State of Jharkhand].

His/her claim will be rejected if the Residential Certificate is issued by any other body and is not in the approved format.

On the Board’s website, the Local Resident certificate format can be found in the Act & Circulars section.

Reservation on Caste Basis:

For admission to institutes, the current reservation policy of the Jharkhand government would be implemented. Candidates claiming reservation must upload a caste certificate in the appropriate format, provided by the appropriate authority [Circle Officer or Sub Divisional Officer — Civil) or Dy. Commissioner of Jharkhand State].

Any other authority’s caste certificate, or one that is not in the approved format, will not be accepted for claiming reservation, and his or her claim will be rejected. Candidates belonging to BC – I and BC – II would be required to upload their caste certificate, according to Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasha, Govt. of Jharkhand letter no. 14/Ja.Ni.-03-13/2015/Ka.-1754 dated 25.02.2019.

Only if the candidate does not belong to the BC – I or BC – II castes will his or her caste certificate be valid.

The caste certificate issued to BC-I and BC-II candidates will be legitimate only if the candidate does not belong to the creamy layer, which must be stated on the certificate.

Reservation for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS):

Candidates from economically weaker sections are eligible for reservation benefits, according to a Memorandum (Memo No.-14/Aa.Ni.-04-02/2019/Ka.-1434 Dated 15-02-2019) issued by the Personnel, Administrative Reforms, and Rajbhasa Department, Ranchi.

Candidates claiming reservation must provide an Income and Assets Certificate in the right format, issued by a competent authority [Circle Officer or Sub Divisional Officer — Civil) or Dy. Commissioner of Jharkhand State].

Reservation for Person with Disabilities (PwD):

The provisions mentioned in clause 8 of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasa Department, Ranchi’s Resolution No.-2249 dated 03.04.2018 will be followed in granting the advantage of reservation to Divyang applicant.

Candidates seeking reservation must submit a Disability Certificate in the right format, signed by the competent authority [Chairman of the Medical Board and countersigned by Medical Superintendent/Chief Medical Officer/Head of the Jharkhand State Hospital].

Reservation for Primitive Tribal Groups Candidates:

According to the Memorandum (Letter No. 5555 Dated 28.06.2016) of the Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasa Department, Ranchi, candidates from primitive tribal tribes are eligible for reservation. The Memorandum in question is available on the Board’s website.

Candidates from reserved categories/quotas shall claim benefits of reservation only if they already have the relevant certificate issued in the right format by the competent authority when filling out the online application form.

Jharkhand Ayush Counselling Process

A candidate can apply for Ayush 2023 Jharkhand State Counselling through the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB).

Register:

Candidates must check the official website JCECEB for the Jharkhand Ayuhs NEET merit list.

Merit List:

Candidates whose names appear on the Jharkhand Ayush Counselling NEET merit list must come to the allotted centre with all necessary papers for Jharkhand Ayush Counselling 2023.

Choice preferences:

Candidates must first have their documents confirmed at the designated centre, after which they must choose their preferred college and course based on their position on the state merit list.

Seat Allotment:

Those candidates who did not receive a seat in the first round of Jharkhand AYUSHCounselling will be able to participate in the subsequent rounds .

Report:

If the candidates get an allotted seat and wish to be admitted, they must report to their respective colleges on time and with all required documents.
