Jharkhand AYUSH Counselling 2026 is the online counselling process conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB), Ranchi, for admission to AYUSH courses based on the NEET UG 2026 result. AYUSH course covered under the counselling process is BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) & BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery).
Admission to the state quota requires candidates to be Indian citizens, qualified in NEET UG 2026, and Local/Permanent Residents of Jharkhand, along with fulfilling the prescribed academic, age and category requirements. The counselling process is conducted online and includes registration, publication of the State Merit List, choice filling, seat allotment, allotment letter download, document verification and admission at the allotted institute.

Claim a category or quota only if you hold the certificate. Reserved category candidates must produce the original at admission, and admission stays provisional until verification is complete.
Jharkhand AYUSH Counselling 2026 Registration Process
- Go to jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.
- Click the link “Click here for All Online Application Submission 2026”.
- Fill the online application form for the State Merit List. The Board uses your NEET UG 2026 result and the category or PwD status you claimed in the NEET application.
- Claim reservation only if you already hold the correct certificate from the authority named in the notice.
- Choose BC-I or BC-II if you are an OBC candidate. If your category differs between the Central and State lists, upload the original caste certificate with the form.
- Pay the registration fee through the payment gateway (credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI).
- Submit the form. Edit it on the notified editing dates if needed.
- After the merit list, open the counselling link “Online Counselling for Admission in M.B.B.S./B.D.S./B.H.M.S. 2026”.
- Pay the counselling fee and fill your choices.
A candidate who applied for the State Merit List in an earlier round does not need to apply again for later rounds.

Candidates who already paid the counselling fee and security deposit need not pay again for Round 1 choice filling. They must re-register on the choice filling portal.
Jharkhand AYUSH Counselling 2026 Documents Required
Below are the list of documents required while online registration and physical reporting:
- Local Resident Certificate – Issued by SDO (Civil) or Deputy Commissioner of Jharkhand. Needed at admission.
- Caste Certificate (SC/ST/BC-I/BC-II) – Issued by SDO (Civil) or Deputy Commissioner. Original needed at admission.
- Non-creamy layer mention – BC-I and BC-II certificates are valid only if non-creamy layer is mentioned.
- Income and Assets Certificate – For EWS reservation. Issued by SDO (Civil) or Deputy Commissioner.
- Disability Certificate – For PwD claims. Issued by RIMS Ranchi or MGM Medical College, Jamshedpur. Civil Surgeon certificates are not valid.
- Primitive Tribal Group certificate – For PTG reservation, as per the government memorandum named in the notice.
- Provisional Seat Allotment Letter – Downloaded after allotment. Carry it to the institute.
- Other original certificates and documents – As per the seat allotment. Failure to submit originals cancels the allotment letter.
Jharkhand AYUSH Counselling 2026 Choice Filling
You fill your institute and course preferences online on the Board’s website.
- Fill as many preferences as you are willing to take.
- Allotment follows your merit rank and your preference order.
- Choose BHMS or BAMS and the institutes you want, in priority order.
- You can change choices by logging in again on the notified editing date.
- Treat the editing window as your last chance to change choices, and confirm the final state on the portal.
Fill choices carefully, since the allotment is generated from what you save.
Jharkhand AYUSH Counselling Seat Upgradation
Candidates already admitted in Round 1 or 2 can join the next round for a better seat. If you are given a new seat, you must take it, and your earlier admission is cancelled automatically. The vacated seat goes to another candidate. You may also be moved to a different category or quota, depending on vacancies and your merit. Upgradation is done only up to the 3rd round.
- Exit and resignation. If you are admitted through Round 2 State Quota and want an All India Quota seat from Round 3, you must surrender your State seat and resign at your institute. Your security money is forfeited.
- Moving from State Quota to All India Quota. The same surrender and resignation rule applies in all rounds, and the security money is forfeited.
Jhanrkhand AYUSH Counselling 2026 Admission Process and Document Verification
- Download your Provisional Seat Allotment Letter from the portal.
- Report to the allotted institute within the dates for your round.
- Submit original certificates and documents for verification.
- Complete admission. Admission stays provisional until the authority verifies all documents.
- Join the college.
If you do not submit original documents as per your allotment, your Provisional Seat Allotment Letter is treated as cancelled. Forged or incorrect certificates can lead to criminal action and debarment from all exams and admission in any college across India.

JCECEB prepares the State Merit List from your NEET UG 2026 result and the category or PwD claims in your online application. If the category you fill differs from your NEET application, you are treated as Unreserved, except where the Central and State caste lists differ and you upload the original certificate.
