Refund of Security Deposit
The security deposit is refunded only after all rounds of AACCC Counselling 2026 are completed, and only to the same bank account or card that was used to make the payment. AACCC Counselling 2026 is conducted in four rounds:
- Round 1: Fresh registration, choice filling and first allotment.

Free Exit and Upgradation Rules in AACCC Counselling 2026
Understanding upgradation and exit rules helps candidates avoid losing their counselling fee unnecessarily during AACCC Counselling 2026.
- Free exit after Round 1: A Round 1 admitted candidate can avail free exit without any forfeiture till the announcement of the Round 2 final result.
- After Round 2 result: If a Round 1 seat is not upgraded, that candidate is now treated under Round 2 rules. Exiting after this point, but before three days prior to Round 3, leads to forfeiture of counselling fee, though the candidate remains eligible for Round 3/SVR by paying fees again.
- Automatic cancellation on upgradation: If a seat is upgraded in Round 2 or Round 3, the earlier joined seat is automatically cancelled and released to another candidate, so choices should only be filled for options a candidate genuinely prefers over the current seat.
- After Round 3 result: Candidates who withdraw an admitted seat after the Round 3 final result becomes ineligible for any Central, State or UT Ayush counselling for that academic year, not just AACCC.
- No exit allowed in Round 3/SVR: Once a seat is allotted in Round 3 or the Stray Vacancy Round, the candidate is not allowed to exit; doing so makes them ineligible for any further Ayush UG counselling for that year, and their name is shared with other counselling authorities.
