AACCC Ayush Counselling

AACCC (Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee) of the Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India, New Delhi, is conducting online counseling for the allocation of AIQ-Undergraduate(BAMS/ BSMS/ BUMS/ BHMS) seats in Ayurveda/ Siddha/ Unani/ Homoeopathy. /Govt. Aided/Central Universities/National Institutes/Deemed Universities, have provided 100% of NEET (UG) qualified eligible candidates Since 2019. The allocation of seats for the academic year 2022-23 is based on the candidate’s performance in the National Testing Agency’s NEET (UG)-2022 Examination (NTA).

The AYUSH Counselling is held online according to the dates published by the AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) on its AACCC counseling official website (aaccc.gov.in) for candidates to participate in the seat allocation process.

Types Of AACCC Counselling

All NEET-UG, 2022/AIAPGET-2022 candidates are hereby notified that AACCC, Ayush provides counseling as follows:

AACCC-UG Counseling:

  1. 15% All India Quota UG (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) seats under Govt./Govt. aided institute of all States/ Union Territories.
  2. 100% UG (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) seats under National/ Central Institutes.
  3. 100% UG (BAMS) seats under Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
  4. 50% BUMS seats of AMU, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.
  5. 50% BAMS & BHMS seats of NEIA&H, Shilong, Meghalaya.
  6. 100% UG (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) seats of all Deemed Universities.

AACCC-PG Counseling:

  1. 15% All India Quota seats of PG courses under Govt./Govt. aided ASU & H institutes of all States/Union Territories.
  2. 100% PG Seats (All India Quota + Institutional Quota) under Banaras Hindu University as per eligibility conditions provided by the University.
  3. 100% seats of National Institutes (as per eligibility condition provided by the respective Institutes).
  4. 100% PG seats of all Deemed Universities.

The AIQ seats come under AACCC-UG Counselling:

i. 15% All India Quota UG (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS) Seats of Govt./Govt. aided institute of all States/UTs (except Jammu & Kashmir)

ii. 100% BAMS Seats of BHU, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh

iii. 100% BAMS Seats of ITRA, Jamnagar, Gujarat (except nominated seats)

iv. 100% BAMS seats of NIA, Jaipur, Rajasthan (except nominated seats)

v. 100% BHMS seats of NIH, Kolkata, West Bengal (except nominated seats)

vi. 100% UG (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS) Seats of all Deemed Universities

vii. 50% BUMS seats of AMU, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh

viii. 50% BAMS & BHMS seats of NEIAH, Shillong, Meghalaya.

Further, the role of AACCC, Ministry Of Ayush is limited to the allotment of seats to the participating candidates, as per their merit and choices, which starts only after receiving the list/data/information of qualified candidates from the National Testing Agency.

Counselling Types & Rounds

15% ALL INDIA QUOTA OF GOVT./GOVT-AIDED COLLEGES:

  • Candidates who have passed the NEET (UG) – 2022 Examination are eligible. (With the exception of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir).
  • The AACCC, Ministry Of Ayush will hold four rounds of online counseling for admission to 15% All India Quota seats in Govt./Govt-Aided colleges/institutions. Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Stray Vacancy Round.
  • After the completion of the third / mop-up round, the Stray Vacancy round will be held for admission in vacant seats (non-reporting/nonjoining).
  • After completing all rounds of AACCC-UG counseling, no seats will be returned to participating institutes.

CENTRAL UNIVERSITIES / NATIONAL INSTITUTES:

  • Candidates who have passed the NEET (UG) – 2022 Examination are eligible. (With the exception of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir).
  • The AACCC, M/o Ayush will hold four rounds of online counseling for admission to Central Universities and National Institutes: i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Stray Vacancy Round.
  • After the completion of the third / mop-up round, the Stray Vacancy round will be held for admission in vacant seats (non-reporting/nonjoining).
  • After completing all rounds of AACCC-UG counseling, no seats will be returned to participating institutes.

100% DEEMED UNIVERSITY:

  • Candidates who have passed the NEET (UG) – 2022 Examination are eligible. (With the exception of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir).
  • There will be four counseling sessions, i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Stray Vacancy Round.
  • The AACCC, M/o Ayush, will conduct three of the four rounds online, namely Round 1, Round 2, and the third /Mop-Up Round.
  • The Stray Vacancy round will be conducted by the respective Deemed Universities, and the AACCC, M/o Ayush will forward the list of registered eligible candidates to the respective Deemed Universities.
  • Only candidates who have registered for the AACCC-UG counseling are eligible for the Deemed Universities’ Stray Vacancy Round.
  • All UG seats in Deemed Universities are domicile free and unreserved, i.e. the Central Government’s reservation policy does not apply.

AACCC Ayush Counselling online Registration & Process

Below is the simplified steps for AACCC Counselling Online Registration:

  • To participate in the AACCC counseling registration 2022, qualified NEET (UG) candidates must register on the AACCC counseling website (www.aaccc.gov.in).
  • Candidates are advised to use the same E-mail address and Mobile Number submitted during NEET-UG, 2022 Registration, for registration on the AACCC-UG portal for Counseling.
  • The AACCC, Ministry of Ayush will only send information/communication to the registered E-mail or registered Mobile Number.
  • The AACCC, Ministry of Ayush will not consider any request to change a registered mobile number or email address.
  • To avoid technical complications, candidates are advised to use a Laptop or Computer with the most recent registered version of Chrome/Internet Explorer/Firefox/Windows/IOS during the Registration and Choice-Filling process.
  • When registering for the AACCC-UG Portal, use extreme caution. Your allocation will be based on the information you provided during registration.
  • Candidates are advised to download the ‘Sandes app’ for OTP on their registered phone number in order to register.

AACCC Counselling Process

ROUND 1: ELIGIBILITY FOR PARTICIPATION

Have a look at AACCC Counselling Process below: Only NEET (UG) – 2022 qualified candidates are eligible to apply for the AACCC-UG counseling.

PROCESS:

Step 1:  Registration for AACCC-UG Counseling.

Step 2:  Payment of Counselling Fee (Non-Refundable Registration Fee + Security Deposit Money)

Step 3:  Choice filling and locking

Step 4:  Publication of Seat allotment list (Publication of result)

Step 5:  Physical Reporting to the allotted college

ROUND 2: ELIGIBILITY FOR PARTICIPATION

  • NEET (UG)- 2022 qualified candidates who have not registered in the 1 st Round. 
  • Candidates registered for the 1 st Round and were not allotted a seat. 
  • Candidates who have opted for free exit in the 1 st Round. 
  • Candidates joined the allotted seat in the AACCC counseling in 1st Round and submitted willingness for up-gradation in the 2nd Round.

PROCESS:

Step 1: Registration for AACCC- UG Counseling. (The candidates who participated in 1st Round need not be registered again)

Step 2: Payment of Counseling Fee includes Non-Refundable Registration Fee + Security Money (Need not to pay by the candidates, those who already paid the counseling fee at the time of registration for 1st Round)

ROUND-3/MOP-UP ROUND: Eligibility for participation

  • NEET (UG)- 2022 qualified candidates who have not registered in the 1 st Round & 2 nd Round. 
  • Candidates who have already registered, but were not allotted seats in the 1 st Round & 2 nd Round.
  • The candidate registered in Round-1/Round 2 & availed of Free Exit.
  • Candidates joined in the 1st Round allotted seat and submitted willingness for upgradation, but did not participate in the 2nd Round of counseling. 
  • Candidates joined the allotted seat in the 2nd Round and submitted willingness for up-gradation in the AACCC counseling 3rd Round. 
  • Candidates who leave/resign the allotted seat in the 2nd Round, with forfeiture of Security money, three days before the commencement of the 3rd Round, can participate with payment of complete fees.

PROCESS:

Step 1: Registration for AACCC-UG Counseling. (Those candidates who participated in 1 st Round/2nd Round need not be registered again) 

Step 2: Payment of Counseling Fee includes non-refundable Registration Fee and Security Money. (No Need to pay by those candidates who have already paid the counseling fee at the time of registration for 1st Round /2nd Round) 

Step 3: Choice filling and locking. 

Step 4: Publication of Seat allotment list (Publication of Result) Step 5: Physical Reporting to the allotted college.

Note: All candidates must take admission on their upgraded seats in the Round 3 / Mop Up Round from Round 1 & 2 admitted seats. If such candidates do not accept the upgraded seats, they will be ineligible for further AYUSH counseling (Central/State/UT/Central Pool Quota) and their security money will be forfeited.

STRAY VACANCY ROUND FOR AIQG/AIQGA/CU/NI

“Seats that remain vacant (not joined/withdrawn) after the 3rd/Mop-up Round of AACCC-UG Counseling of Govt./Govt. Aided colleges/CU/NI will be filled through the AACCC, Ministry of Ayush’s online Stray Vacancy Round”

ELIGIBILITY FOR PARTICIPATION:

All registered candidates who were not admitted to any of the seats through AACCC-UG counseling or state/UT counseling are eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round.

PROCESS:

  • There is no Fresh Registration in Stray Vacancy Round.  
  • Candidates must submit a willingness in the AACCC-UG portal to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round with an undertaking that they are not holding any UG (ASU&H) seats allotted through AACCC-UG counseling or counseling conducted by State/UTs.  
  • Option for choice filling is available in the Stray Vacancy Round.  
  • No upgradation is available from the 3 rd/ Mop-up Round to the Stray Vacancy Round

STRAY VACANCY ROUND FOR DEEMED UNIVERSITY

  • The Stray Vacancy Round will be conducted by the respective Deemed Universities at their own level for seat allotment under Deemed Universities.
  • AACCC, M/o Ayush will send a list of eligible registered candidates to Deemed Universities for the Stray Vacancy Round, which will be exercised strictly in order of merit.
  • The seats are domicile-free, and only registered AACCC – UG counseling candidates are eligible for admission.

Note: In addition, a list of ineligible candidates will be distributed to the appropriate State/UT counselling authorities, National Institutes/Central Universities/Deemed Universities for the purpose of prohibiting them from participating in any other AYUSH counseling (Central/State/UT/Nominated seat, etc.)

Documents Required at the time of Joining Allotted Ayush College

AACCC Counselling Documents Required (Original along with attested photocopies of documents) at the time of joining in allotted AYUSH College are as below:

  • Admit Cards for the NEET (UG)-2022 Exam issued by NTA.
  • NEET (UG)-2022 Result/ Rank letter issued by NTA.
  • Date of Birth Certificate (if 10th Standard Certificate does not bear the same)
  • Class 10th passed Certificate
  • Class 10+2 Passed Certificate
  • Class 10+2 Marks Sheet
  • Eight (8) Passport size photographs. (Same as affixed on the NEET (UG)- 2022/AACCC-UG counseling-2022 online application form).
  • Provisional Allotment Letter generated online from the AACCC portal.
  • Proof of identity (Aadhar/ PAN/ Driving License/ Passport/ Voter ID )
  • Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner in the prescribed format as attached in Annexure-VI.
  • Transfer Certificate from the last studied institution.

AACCC Counselling Fees: FEES TO BE PAID AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION

Here is the bifurcation of AACCC Counselling 2022 Fees, Students must pay two types of fees when they register:

  1. Non-Refundable Registration Fee  
  • Rs. 1000/- for AIQG-college/AIQGA-college/Central University/National Institute UR/EWS/OBCcandidates.  
  • Rs. 500/- For SC/ ST/ PWD  
  • Rs. 5000/- For DeemedUniversity for all Categories 
  1. AACCC Counselling Refund (Security Fees) will be refunded to candidates after they join the allotted college within the time frame specified in the schedule, or if they do not get a seat during all rounds of counseling, to the bank account provided by the candidate when registering for AACCC-UG counseling.

For admission in AIQG-college/AIQGA-college/National Institute/ Central University: 

For UR/EWS/OBC candidates– Rs.10,000/-  

For SC/ST/ PWD –Rs. 10,000/-  

For admission to Deemed University -Rs. 50,000/-For example: 

Any candidate opting for Deemed University will have to pay an amount of Rs.55000/- at the time of registration (i.e., Rs 5000/- Non-Refundable Registration fee + Rs. 50,000/- Refundable Security fee.) 

  • Any OBC candidate opting for AIQG seat only will have to pay an amount of Rs.11000/- at the time of registration (i.e., Rs 1000/- Non-Refundable Registration fee + Rs. 10,000/- refundable Security fee.)

AYUSH Counselling 2022 Disability Criteria

According to the CCIM/CCH/NCISM/NCH Gazette Notifications, participants are Eligible/Not Eligible for admission to Ayurveda/Siddha/Unani/Homoeopathy UG programs if they’re otherwise medically stable.

Is the security deposit refundable in Ayush Counselling?

For – 15% AIQ/ CU /NI, the fee is refundable if the applicant has paid Rs. 10,000 as a security amount and if the applicant has paid Rs. 1000 as registration fees then the amount is non-refundable.

When will the AACCC-UG online seat allotment process for this Academic Year start?

The Online seat allotment process will start as per the Schedule of the AACCC-UG Counseling for the Academic Year 2022-23. Please See the Schedule and notices uploaded on the AACCC Counselling website (www.aaccc.gov.in) from time to time.

When did Ayush Counselling start?

What is Aaccc Counselling?

The Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) of the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, New Delhi, is online counseling conducting authority for the allocation of 15% All India Quota Seats in Undergraduate (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) and Postgraduate (MD/MS) courses under Govt./Govt.

How is BAMS Counselling done?

The authorities will conduct the BAMS 2022 counseling round based on the candidate’s NEET 2022 score. Candidates who score higher than the cutoff marks will be able to participate in the counselling round.

How many rounds are there in BAMS Counselling?

There will be a maximum of two rounds for BAMS admission. There will be one round for option entry and a second round for offline counselling. If there are any open seats for ayurvedic admission, there may be a mop-up round. However, the majority of government quotas and private seats will be filled in two rounds. You can also apply for direct admissions via management quotas.

How many marks are required in NEET for Ayush in a government college?

The qualifying aggregate marks for unreserved applicants in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are 50%. It is 40% for OBC, ST, and SC candidates and 45% for PWD candidates.

When will the Refundable security amount be refunded, if I am eligible as per the Refund Policy?

Refund will be initiated only after completion of all rounds of AACCC–UG Counseling.

How and when do I have to make the payment for AACCC-UG counseling?

After registration, the payment page appears automatically. Candidates can only make online payments by Net Banking /credit card/ debit card. After the successful completion of payment, the candidate can proceed with choice filling.

Do I require any documents to get registered online?

Since it is an online allotment (Counseling) process, no documents are required. However, you need to fill up the similar information which you gave at the time of registration for the NEET (UG)-2022 examination on the NTA website and upload a legible scanned copy of the Cancelled Cheque/Bank Passbook/ Bank e-Statement (having account details).
