Karnataka Ayush Counselling is a significant process conducted in the state of Karnataka, India, for admissions into various Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy (AYUSH) courses. The counseling process is organized by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) or the concerned authorities designated by the state government. Only NEET-qualified students can apply or participate in Ayush Karnataka Counselling. Admission to Ayush Courses (BAMS/BHMS/BNYS/BUMS) is based on NEET Scorecard.
The purpose of Karnataka Ayush Counselling is to allocate seats in AYUSH courses offered by government and private colleges in Karnataka. The counseling is usually based on the ranks obtained by candidates in the relevant entrance examinations, such as the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) or other state-level entrance exams conducted by KEA.
The counseling process consists of several stages, including online registration, document verification, option entry, seat allotment, and admission confirmation. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have qualified in the entrance examination are required to register online and submit their documents for verification. This step ensures the authenticity and eligibility of the candidates.
The Counselling Procedure was done by the KEA Authority on 85 % of seats for local students and 15 % of seats for All India Quota (AIQ) students. The NEET scorecard will be recognized by Karnataka’s numerous government and private Ayurvedic/Homoeopathic/Unami & Naturopathy universities.
