West Bengal AYUSH Counselling 2024 (Provisional Allotment Out)

West Bengal AYUSH Counselling 2024 will be conducted by the West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee and offers a streamlined admission process for aspiring students seeking admission into BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BSMS and BNYS courses under the state quota. The curriculum for these AYUSH courses aligns with the standards set by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), ensuring a complete education in traditional medical systems. The online counselling process allows candidates to apply to both government and private AYUSH colleges within West Bengal. Following the announcement of the NEET exam results on June 14, 2024, by NTA, the registration for West Bengal AYUSH Counselling 2024 is started at 11 am on 06.09.2024 till 6 pm on 07.09.2024 (as per server time). The detailed schedule will be available on the official website, https://wbmcc.nic.in/.

The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee will oversee the counselling for 85% of seats in government BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS & BNYS colleges and all seats in private BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS & BNYS colleges in West Bengal. The remaining 15% of seats in government colleges will be managed by the AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC).

QualificationApplicants must have finished 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory courses with a minimum of 50 %, 40 % for SC/ST category candidates, and 45% for PwD candidates.

West Bengal AYUSH Registration Process

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of the West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) at https://wbmcc.nic.in/.
  • Step 2: Click on the "AYUSH Counselling" tab.
  • Step 3: Click on the "Registration" link.
  • Step 4: Enter your details, such as your name, email address, and mobile number.
  • Step 5: Upload your scanned copies of your NEET admit card, NEET scorecard, and caste certificate (if applicable).
  • Step 6: Pay the registration fee of INR 500 (General) or INR 1000 (SC/ST/PwD).
  • Step 7: Click on the "Submit" button.
  • Step 8: You will receive a confirmation email with your login credentials.
  • Step 9: Log in to the website using your credentials.
  • Step 10: Fill out the choice form and lock your choices.
  • Step 11: You will be allotted a seat based on your choices and the availability of seats.
  • Step 12: You will need to pay the admission fee to confirm your seat.

Note: The registration process for the West Bengal AYUSH Counselling will be conducted in two phases:

  • Phase 1: Registration for All India Quota (AIQ) seats.
  • Phase 2: Registration for State Quota seats.

West Bengal AYUSH Counselling Process

Step 1: Registration

  • Visit the official website of the West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) at https://wbmcc.nic.in/.
  • Click on the "AYUSH Counselling" tab.
  • Click on the "Registration" link.
  • Enter your details, such as your name, email address, and mobile number.
  • Upload your scanned copies of your NEET admit card, NEET scorecard, and caste certificate (if applicable).
  • Pay the registration fee of Rs. 2000/- (General) or INR Rs.1500/-(SC/ST/PwD).
  • Click on the "Submit" button.

Step 2: Choice Filling

  • After the registration process is complete, you will be able to fill out your choice form.
  • You can choose up to 10 colleges in order of preference.
  • You can change your choices as many times as you want before the seat allotment process begins.

Step 3: Seat Allotment

  • The seat allotment will be conducted in two rounds.
  • In the first round, candidates will be allotted seats based on their NEET scores and their choices.
  • In the second round, unfilled seats will be allotted to candidates who have not been allotted a seat in the first round.
  • The seat allotment results will be published on the WBMCC website.

Step 4: Document Verification

  • Candidates who have been allotted a seat must submit their documents for verification at the college.
  • The documents that need to be submitted vary depending on the college.
  • The document verification process will be conducted at the college.

Step 5: Payment of Admission Fee

  • Once the documents have been verified, candidates must pay the admission fee to confirm their seat.
  • The admission fee is INR 1000 (General) or INR 500 (SC/ST/PwD).
  • The admission fee can be paid online or at the college.

For State Quota Documents

  • Acknowledgement Slip- After successful enrollment, a slip is generated online.
  • Domicile certificate (a1,a2,b) or e-district website domicile certificate
  • In the case of a parent's domicile certificate displaying residence as West Bengal (any two of the three ID cards specified above), the voter card/Aadhar card/passport of the parent is required.
  • If relevant, caste certificate. (This document was issued in the state of West Bengal.)
  • 2024 NEET-UG Admissions card.
  • 2024 NEET-UG Rank Card.
  • As an application, IPGMER Kolkata issued a PwD certificate.
  • Proof of payment of Counselling fees (generated online).
  • Proof of age (by December 31, 2024, you must be 17 years old).
  • Verification of marks sheet for class 10+2.
  •  Provisional allotment letter from the website https://www.wbmcc.nic.in.

For Management Quota Documents

  • Acknowledgement Slip - After successful enrollment, a slip is generated online.
  • Admit Card for NEET-UG 2024.

For NRI Quota Documents

  • Notarized Affidavit of the applicant or sponsor who is a non-resident alien.
  • Documents stating that the candidate/sponsor is a non-resident alien (valid passport, visa, recent utility bill).
  • As per the judgement of the Honourable Supreme Court of India in the case of WP (C) No689/2017- Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) and Anrvs.
  • Union of India and Ors. Dated 22nd of August, 2017
  • Notarized Affidavit from the sponsor stating that he or she will cover the candidate's entire course price.
  • After successful enrollment, an Acknowledgement slip is generated online.
  • Admit Card for NEET-UG 2024.

AACCC Counselling Process 

AYUSH UG counselling refers to the counseling process for undergraduate programs in the field of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy. These programs are collectively known as AYUSH courses and are offered by various colleges and universities in India. The counselling process for AYUSH UG courses is conducted by the respective state and central counseling authorities (AACCC).

The online counselling for the allocation of 15% All India Quota Seats in Undergraduate (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) courses at Government/Government-aided Ayurveda/Siddha/Unani/Homoeopathy Colleges, Deemed Universities (100%), Central Universities/National Institutes is being conducted by the AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. On the other hand, candidates seeking admission through the 85% state quota for AYUSH courses should apply to the respective state counselling authorities.

  • AACCC – UG Counselling
  1. 15% All India Quota UG (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) seats under Govt./Govt. aided institute of all States/ Union Territories.
  2. 100% UG (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) seats under National/ Central Institutes.
  3. 100% UG (BAMS) seats under Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
  4. 50% BUMS seats of AMU, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.
  5. 50% BAMS & BHMS seats of NEIA&H, Shilong, Meghalaya.
  6. 100% UG (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) seats of all Deemed Universities.
  7. 100% UG seats (15% All India Quota + 85% Delhi Quota) of ASU & H Institutes under Delhi University as per eligibility conditions provided by the University.

3. Option for choice filling is available.
4. No upgradation from the Mop-up Round to the Stray Vacancy Round.
Stray Vacancy Round for Deemed UniversityAll registered AACCC-UG counseling candidates are eligible.1. AACCC sends a list of eligible registered candidates to Deemed Universities.
2. Deemed Universities conduct the Stray Vacancy Round for seat allotment. 3. Seat allocation strictly in order of merit.
4. Domicile-free seats.

  • Candidates must be domiciled in West Bengal to apply for State Quota seats.

Management Quota
