Andhra Pradesh AYUSH Conducting Authority
Andhra Pradesh AYUSH Counselling 2026 is conducted by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, which is the state health sciences university responsible for admissions into AYUSH, medical, dental, nursing and allied colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The university handles:
- All India Quota (AIQ) admissions in private un-aided, non-minority AYUSH colleges
- Management Quota (MQ) admissions in private un-aided, non-minority AYUSH colleges
- State quota (Competent Authority Quota) admissions in government, aided and private AYUSH colleges, through separate web-based counselling notified from time to time
This is different from the national-level AACCC (AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee), which separately handles the 15% All India Quota seats in government, government-aided, central universities, deemed universities and national institutes. For private colleges in Andhra Pradesh, however, the AIQ seats are administered directly by Dr. NTR UHS.

This is the minimum qualifying percentile and score range notified for admission into BHMS courses under AIQ and MQ.

The lower percentile for SC/ST/BC/PwD categories is only for eligibility purposes. Follow these steps for Andhra Pradesh AYUSH Counselling 2026 registration:
- Visit the official website (drntr.uhsap.in), or the dedicated portal for the quota you are applying under (apuhs-ugadmissions.aptonline.in/UGAYUSHAIQ for AIQ, or apuhs-ugadmissions.aptonline.in/UGAYUSHMQ for MQ).
- Read the Notification and Prospectus/Regulations carefully before starting the application, especially the eligibility conditions.
- Register with your basic details. A registration number will be sent to your registered mobile number, note it down and keep it confidential.
- Fill in your NEET UG 2026 roll number and score/rank details.
- Enter personal details, contact details, and category details.
- Enter academic (qualifying exam) details.
- Upload the scanned certificates listed in the documents section below, in the specified format and file size.
- Pay the non-refundable application and processing fee online through debit card, credit card or net banking.
- Review all entered details and uploaded documents carefully, since certificate verification is done only on the basis of what is uploaded.
- Submit the application. Note that offline applications and printed forms sent by post are not accepted.
- Once merit position and web counselling notifications are released separately, log in again to exercise web options/choices for BHMS course and college preference, as per the schedule that will be notified.
The university has specifically noted that the online application form should be filled using Internet Explorer 11, as stated in the official instructions, though candidates commonly also use other browsers to avoid technical issues.

Andhra Pradesh AYUSH Admission Process After Allotment
Once a seat is allotted in Andhra Pradesh AYUSH Counselling 2026, candidates need to complete these steps:
- Download the provisional allotment order from the official website after paying the applicable University Fee through the online payment gateway.
- Take a printout of the filled online application form and the allotment order.
- Report to the allotted college in person, within the timeline notified by the university.
- Submit the printout of the application form, the provisional allotment order, all original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies to the Principal of the allotted college for final verification.
- Pay the tuition fee directly at the college at the time of admission, as fixed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
- If any discrepancy is found during verification, the provisional allotment stands cancelled without further notice, so candidates should double-check every document before reporting.
Commencement of classes has been indicated as 02.11.2026, and closure of admissions is set for 30.11.2026, subject to the schedule fixed by the Ministry of AYUSH, NCISM and NCH. Any vacancy on or after the date of closure of admissions will not be filled.
Important Rules from NCISM/Ministry of AYUSH
These directives apply strictly to Andhra Pradesh AYUSH Counselling 2026 and all AYUSH admissions nationwide:
- There is no offline admission and no admission without counselling, every admission must go through the central or state counselling authority.
- Admissions beyond the intake capacity sanctioned by NCISM/NCH will not be approved.
- Institute-level counselling in any mode is not permitted; any such admission is invalid.
- No admission is approved without verification of original documents.
- Admissions made after the cut-off date fixed by NCISM/NCH are not approved, and no authority can extend this cut-off date.
- No authority can modify the intake capacity sanctioned for a college.
- AACCC will circulate a list of ineligible candidates to state counselling authorities during Round 3 and the Stray Vacancy Rounds of AACCC-UG counselling; such candidates cannot be allotted a seat through any round of state counselling either.
Andhra Pradesh AYUSH Counselling 2026 Merit List
The merit list for Andhra Pradesh AYUSH Counselling 2026 is prepared as follows:
- Merit position is based directly on the candidate's NEET UG 2026 score and rank.
- After the application window closes, the university and departmental officials scrutinise the uploaded certificates.
- A provisional merit list is released first, based on this scrutiny.
- Candidates who find discrepancies can raise grievances.
- After grievances are addressed, the final merit list is released, and this becomes the basis for exercising web options for admission.
- Being placed in the merit list does not automatically confirm a candidate's eligibility, the university has clearly stated that an ineligible candidate obtaining a merit position does not become eligible for admission just because of that ranking.
