Government BUMS College in Andhra Pradesh

Government BUMS Colleges in Andhra Pradesh are training and educational institutions for students interested in learning about Unani medicine. To sustain health and avoid illness, Unani medicine, an ancient therapeutic tradition, emphasizes the balance of physiological fluids (humors). Typically, BUMS programs teach a thorough understanding of Unani philosophies, herbal medicine, and surgical methods. These government-affiliated universities play an important role in conserving and promoting the traditional system of Unani medicine, contributing to Andhra Pradesh’s healthcare scene.

These colleges are affiliated with state universities and follow the norms and criteria established by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), the regulatory authority in India that oversees the education and practice of traditional systems of medicine. The goal of government BUMS colleges is to develop certified Unani practitioners who can provide holistic healthcare services by combining ancient wisdom with modern medical expertise.
