Seat allotment for Madhya Pradesh AYUSH Counselling 2026 is done through online counselling, based on NEET UG merit, category, and the choices locked by the candidate. Key allotment rules for Round 1:
- All registered and document-verified candidates are eligible for Round 1.
- After allotment, candidates get two options: "Satisfied" (accept the allotted college and proceed to admission) or "Opt for Upgradation" (accept the current seat provisionally but seek a better option in the next round).
- Candidates who select "Satisfied" must report to the allotted college with all original documents, photocopies and the requisite admission fee, and once admitted, are not eligible for further rounds.

Madhya Pradesh AYUSH Counselling 2026 Merit List
Madhya Pradesh AYUSH Counselling 2026 provisional merit list is prepared strictly on the basis of the candidate's NEET UG 2026 marks, after registration on the MP Online AYUSH portal. Key points on the merit list:
- After registration, a combined provisional merit list is prepared covering all eligible candidates both Madhya Pradesh candidates and candidates from outside Madhya Pradesh who applied under the eligibility criteria and is published on the MP Online website.
- For reserved category seats in colleges approved by the Department of AYUSH, MP, a separate reserved-category merit list is also issued alongside the combined merit list.
- In case two or more candidates have the same marks in Class 12 (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), the tie is broken first by higher marks in Biology, then Chemistry, then Physics, and finally by higher age.
- Once the merit list is published, candidates should verify their rank and category status and proceed to institute/course selection (choice filling) based on this list, since institute selection is allowed only after the merit list is declared.

Madhya Pradesh AYUSH Counselling Registration Process
Registration is done in two stages, Profile Creation and Registration through the official portal, https://ayush.mponline.gov.in. The steps below follow the official MP Online user manual for MP State Ayush NEET-UG Counselling (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS), and the same broad process applies to the separate BNYS registration on the same portal.
Step 1: Profile Creation
- Visit https://ayush.mponline.gov.in and select the relevant counselling link, "MP State Ayush NEET-UG Counselling (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS)" or "MP State Ayush BNYS UG Counselling," under the UG Counselling section.
- Click on "Create New Profile."
- Enter your NEET UG 2026 roll number, date of birth, a Secret Key of your choice, and the captcha, then click "Create Profile."
- Your NEET details will be displayed automatically. Fill in your contact number, photo ID proof and address details, then click "Update." Use a mobile number you will keep active throughout counselling, since OTPs and updates are sent to this number.
- Enter the OTP received on your mobile number/email ID and set a new password, then click "Validate and Save."
- On successful profile creation, you will see a confirmation message and the next steps: Registration then Fill Registration Form then Payment then Confirmation of Registration and Print Receipt.
Step 2: Registration
- Once your profile status turns green on the Status Tracker, click "Registration Form."
- Fill in your Domicile Details, Category and Class (reservation) details, and Qualifying Exam (Class 12) details as per your eligibility, then click "Save Data."
- Review the information displayed on screen. If correct, click "Proceed to Payment for Registration." If any detail needs correction, click "Back to Registration Form."
- Pay the registration fee through the available online payment options — Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI.
- On successful payment, a receipt is generated. Take a printout for your records.
- Once payment is confirmed, your registration status shows as completed. You can use the "Edit Registration Form" option if you need to make changes before the edit window closes.
After registration, candidates must get their original documents verified and then proceed to choice filling once that window opens.
Registration Fee and Choice-Filling Fee
Madhya Pradesh admission rules specify two separate, distinct fees during the counselling process, a registration fee and a separate choice-filling fee. These are different from the college-level fee structure paid after admission.

Note on Security Deposit: The official admission rules do not mention a separate refundable "security deposit" collected at the counselling/registration stage (unlike some other states). A refundable security fee of Rs. 10,000, payable to the college at the time of admission, this is part of the college fee structure, not a counselling security deposit.

Note: This fee structure applies to government (autonomous) colleges only. Fees for private Ayurveda, Homoeopathy and Unani colleges (and private BNYS colleges) are fixed separately by the Fee Regulatory Committee/Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission, as applicable, and candidates should confirm these directly with the concerned college or the regulatory body before choice locking.
Fee Refund Policy
- Candidates who take admission through counselling and later withdraw/leave the seat online at the college level, up to the third round of counselling, get a refund of the fee deposited, after a deduction of 10% of the tuition fee charged (subject to a maximum deduction of Rs. 10,000).
- If admission is withdrawn after the third round, only the caution money/security deposit is refundable; the rest of the fee is not refunded.

All original documents must be produced for verification; scrutiny is carried out by a document verification committee at the designated centre, and candidates found ineligible or with incomplete documents can be denied participation in counselling.
Madhya Pradesh AYUSH Counselling 2026 Choice Filling
Choice filling in Madhya Pradesh AYUSH Counselling 2026 is called "Institution Selection", and it happens only after the provisional merit list is published:
- Log in to your Candidate Profile on https://ayush.mponline.gov.in once the merit list is declared and choice filling opens.
- Select your preferred courses/institutes in order of priority — the sequence you choose determines the order in which the system considers you for those seats.
- Pay the choice-filling fee of Rs. 50 to lock your choices. A receipt listing your selected institutes is generated after payment.
- You can only select institutes/courses after the provisional merit list relevant to your category has been published.
- Once choices are locked for a round, seat allotment for that round is done strictly in merit order, matched against your locked preferences and seat availability.
Since seat allotment depends entirely on the order of your locked preferences, candidates should arrange colleges and courses (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS, or the specific BNYS colleges) genuinely in the order they would prefer to join, rather than leaving out options they might actually accept.
Madhya Pradesh AYUSH Counselling 2026 Rounds
Madhya Pradesh AYUSH Counselling for BAMS/BHMS/BUMS (and, on a parallel process, for BNYS) is conducted in four stages: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Stray Vacancy Round (the final round).
Round 1
- All registered and document-verified candidates are eligible.
- Candidates must complete choice filling and locking to participate.
- Seat allotment is announced as per the notified schedule.
- After allotment, candidates choose "Satisfied" (admission) or "Opt for Upgradation."
- Candidates who select "Satisfied" must report to the allotted college with original documents and fee within the notified time; once admitted, they are not eligible for further rounds.
- Candidates who do not select any option, or who select "Satisfied" but do not join, lose that seat, which is released for Round 2; such candidates remain eligible for Round 2/Round 3.
Round 2
- Eligible candidates include those not allotted any seat in Round 1, those who did not join despite allotment/Satisfied option, and those who opted for Upgradation in Round 1, along with newly registered and verified candidates.
- Candidates opting for Upgradation must file fresh choices and lock them again; failure to do so means their earlier allotted seat is released to other candidates, though they remain eligible for Round 3.
- After Round 2 allotment, the same "Satisfied" or "Opt for Upgradation" choice applies.
- New seats becoming available in Round 2 (due to fresh recognition/approval) are filled category-wise and reservation-wise.
Round 3
- All previously registered candidates (except those already admitted in Round 1 or Round 2) are eligible, along with candidates opting for Upgradation.
- Fresh choice filling and locking is mandatory for participation.
- Once a seat is allotted in Round 3, admission is compulsory, there is no further "Opt for Upgradation" option, and candidates admitted in Round 3 are not eligible for further rounds.
- If an eligible reserved-category candidate is unavailable, allotment/conversion happens.
Stray Vacancy Round (Final Round)
- Conducted after Round 3, for seats that remain vacant.
- Both previously registered candidates (who were not admitted through Round 1/2/3) and newly registered candidates are eligible for this round; candidates already admitted through Round 1/2/3 are not eligible.
- Fresh choice filling and locking is mandatory.
- A list of vacant seats and the eligible merit list is published (advertised) for this round.
- Based on this merit list, eligible candidates must report in person at Pt. Khushilal Sharma Shashkiya Swashasi Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, for centralised counselling and online admission against vacant seats, in merit order.
Madhya Pradesh AYUSH Counselling 2026 Admission Process
Once a seat is allotted in any round of Madhya Pradesh AYUSH Counselling 2026, the following steps must be completed:
- Download the seat allotment letter from your Candidate login on https://ayush.mponline.gov.in.
- Report to the allotted college with all original documents and their photocopies for verification.
- Enter your NEET roll number, date of birth and password on the college's admission portal to confirm admission; failing to do so within the notified time results in automatic cancellation of the allotment.
- Undergo the required medical fitness examination, admission is valid only if the candidate is certified medically fit by the Chief Medical and Health Officer/Civil Surgeon/a registered medical practitioner, as per the format prescribed by the Government of India.
- Pay the applicable college fee (as per the Fee Structure table, for government colleges, or as fixed by the Fee Regulatory Committee/MP Private University Regulatory Commission for private colleges).
- The college's Admission Committee (which must include at least two senior teachers and at least two teachers from reserved categories) verifies original documents and recommends admission to the Principal.
- The Principal notifies the college's presence and confirms your enrolment with the Directorate of AYUSH on the notified date.
If a candidate allotted a seat fails to report and join by the notified deadline, or leaves the seat after joining, that allotment/admission is automatically treated as cancelled.
Madhya Pradesh AYUSH Counselling 2026 Document Verification
Document verification is compulsory for every registered candidate before institute selection and seat allotment:
- Candidates must get all original documents verified according to the timetable notified after registration.
- Document verification can be carried out at any government (autonomous) Ayurveda, Homoeopathy or Unani college in Madhya Pradesh, candidates are not restricted to a single designated centre.
- Detailed instructions on verification centres and the schedule are displayed on the MP Online portal and the Department of AYUSH website at the relevant time.
Candidates whose documents fail verification, or who are unable to produce the required originals, are not permitted to proceed further in that round of counselling.

Vacant Reserved Seat Conversion
- If eligible candidates are unavailable for vacant Sainik, Freedom Fighter, PwBD or Women category seats, those seats are made available without that category (Ex) during the second and subsequent rounds. If eligible candidates are still unavailable within the reserved social category's own limit, they are filled from other categories.
- If choice-filling-eligible candidates are unavailable in a particular reserved social category, vacant seats are converted in this order: (a) ST vacant seats go to SC candidates, (b) SC vacant seats go to ST candidates, (c) if both SC and ST candidates are unavailable, seats go to OBC candidates, (d) if SC, ST and OBC candidates are all unavailable, seats go to EWS candidates, (e) if all four reserved categories are unavailable, seats go to unreserved (General) category candidates.
- This conversion is applied only after the choice-lock list of eligible candidates for that category is exhausted, and is notified before the next round of counselling.
