Goa AYUSH Counselling 2026 is the admission process for BAMS, BHMS and BNYS courses in Goa. The counselling is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Goa, through its Admission Committee as part of the state’s NEET-based professional degree admissions. Admission to AYUSH courses is based on the candidate’s NEET UG 2026 score and rank, along with the eligibility, residence and category requirements prescribed by DTE Goa.
Goa does not have a separate online AYUSH counselling system. Candidates apply through Form A submitted to DTE Goa, along with their NEET UG 2026 details and required documents. Eligible candidates then participate in the in-person admission rounds at DTE, Porvorim, where seats are selected according to merit, category and availability.
AYUSH courses covered include BAMS at Gomantak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya & Research Centre (GAMRC) and All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), BHMS at Shree Kamaxidevi Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (SKHMC), and BNYS at Goa College of Naturopathy and Yogic Science (GCNYS). Candidates from outside Goa should read the OGA rule closely. They compete only for seats left vacant after the local categories. The 15% AIQ seats are a separate route.
A candidate cannot combine any of Categories 1 (except A) to 7 with Categories 8 to 11. A General category candidate found eligible once stays eligible for the next 3 years.
Goa AYUSH Counselling 2026 Registration Process
Registration is done on Form A. There is no online login, a single Form A covers all NEET-based courses including BAMS, BHMS and BNYS needs a separate form.
- Read the Degree Prospectus 2026-27 on www.dte.goa.gov.in.
- Download Form A from the DTE website or collect it from an Application Receiving Centre.
- Fill the form in your own handwriting. Write your name in block letters as it appears on your SSC/HSSC marksheet.
- Enter your NEET roll number, NEET 2026 all India rank and Std. XII marks.
- Circle the category or categories you are applying under. Write YES in the NEET-based courses box. You will be considered only for courses marked YES.
- Affix identical passport size photographs on the form and on the Acknowledgement Card.
- Pay the application fee of Rs. 2,100 by the approved mode that DTE notifies, and attach the receipt.
- Attach self-attested photocopies of the documents in the checklist. Do not attach originals.
- Submit the form at an Application Receiving Centre before the last date and collect the acknowledgement with your registration number.
- Submit your NEET UG 2026 scorecard with your Form A registration number written on it. The notice allowed this through a link on the DTE website or in person at four locations: DTE Porvorim, Padre Conceicao College of Engineering Verna, Goa College of Naturopathy & Yogic Science Sankhali, and PES Rajaram & Tarabai College of Pharmacy Farmagudi.
If NEET results are not available by the last date, submit them within 8 days of declaration. If you submit more than one form for the same course and category, only the last one is counted. Category and course changes are not allowed after the last date.

If Goa University later declares a candidate ineligible, all fees except the Rs. 2,100 admission fee are refunded. Fee concessions in the prospectus apply only to Government institutions. All fees are subject to revision by the Government.
Goa AYUSH Counselling 2026 Documents Required
Submit self-attested photocopies with Form A. Carry originals to the admission round.
- Two recent passport size photographs (not older than 3 months) – All applicants. One on the form, one on the Acknowledgement Card
- NEET 2026 admit card and result – All applicants
- Std. XII (HSSC) marksheet – All applicants
- Birth certificate – All applicants
- Aadhaar card copy – In the form checklist
- Residence certificate from Mamlatdar, or bonafide student certificate from a recognised school in Goa – Proof of 10 years continuous residence
- School or college leaving/transfer certificate – If applicable. Must be submitted within 15 days of admission
- Goa University Eligibility Certificate – Applicants from boards other than the Goa Board
- Caste certificate from Deputy Collector (non-migrant) – SC, ST. OBC also needs non-creamy layer. Panchayat or Mamlatdar certificates are not accepted
- Income and Assets Certificate from Mamlatdar, valid for 2026-27 – EWS seats. Original needed at the round
- Income certificate from Panchayat or Municipality (parents’ income, 2025-26) – Fee concession in Government institutions
- Disability certificate from Goa Medical College Medical Board or designated authority – PwD
- Freedom Fighter certificate from Home Department, Goa – FF
- Ex-Servicemen certificate from Sainik Welfare – ESM
- Nativity certificate – GN
- Embassy certificate, OCI/PIO card, passport copy, Goa University provisional eligibility – NRI/OCI/PIO
- Anti-ragging undertaking and parent affidavit – After admission, as per UGC rules
Goa AYUSH Counselling 2026 Choice Filling
Goa AYUSH Counselling 2026 choice filling is not done online. There is no login, no preference list and no choice locking in the prospectus. At the admission round, candidates present in the hall are given a chance to select a seat from the seats available at their merit number. What this means in practice:
- Know your course and college order before you go. Decide between BAMS at GAMRC, BAMS at AIIA, BHMS at SKHMC and BNYS at GCNYS.
- You choose only from seats left at your turn.
- Admission is complete only after you deposit original documents and pay fees.
- If you miss your turn, you lose your claim for that round and the seat goes to the next candidate.
Goa AYUSH Counselling 2026 Admission Process and Reporting
- Attend the round on your scheduled day with your Acknowledgement Card, original documents and fees.
- Select a seat when your merit number is called.
- Pay the admission fee and the other fees by the approved mode DTE notifies.
- Deposit your original documents. Admission is complete only after this and fee payment.
- Report to the college within 3 working days and get an acknowledgement. Late reporting can cancel the admission and forfeit the Rs. 2,100 admission fee.
- Submit the school leaving or transfer certificate within 15 days.
- Submit the anti-ragging undertaking and affidavit as required.
Original documents stay with the Admission Committee until the second or any later round, so vertical mobility can be handled on the spot.

Total reservation is kept below 50% because of Supreme Court directions, so non-statutory quotas such as NRI and GN are restricted. Vacant FF, PwD and GN seats first move to Open seats in the same group. Vacant NRI, ESM, SC, ST and OBC seats move to Open General.
Goa AYUSH Counselling 2026 Merit List
The merit list for BAMS, BHMS and BNYS is prepared only on NEET UG 2026 rank, percentile or score card. DTE prepares separate provisional merit lists for each category and displays them on www.dte.goa.gov.in.
If you find an error, inform the Chairman, Admission Committee in writing within 24 hours. Otherwise DTE will not be responsible for the result. A candidate eligible in more than one category can attend rounds for each category as per merit position. After the lists come out, you attend the admission rounds in person.

Seats are allotted on the spot, based on merit number, category and seat availability. Seats of reserved categories left vacant are moved to General category at the end of reserved category admissions in each round.

The “+” figure is the maximum number of extra General Open seats that can go to Category 1 ‘A’ applicants. These are children of central or state government employees and some residents who passed Std. XII in Goa but do not meet the General residence rule. They cannot take other General Open seats.
