Shri Kamaxidevi Homoeopathic Medical College, Shiroda is a medical college. It is the first and only institute in the state of Goa that is affiliated with Goa University and is recognized by the Goa government. It is also recognized by the Central Council of Homoeopathy in New Delhi, as well as the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’s Department of AYUSH in the Government of India.
The college has a very good infrastructure that is supported by all departments. For clinical training, the college is affiliated with a hospital. To serve the people, separate outpatient and inpatient departments are in operation.
The College publishes the quarterly journal Indian Journal of Applied Homoeopathy and is involved in various research activities. Many pioneer Homoeopaths work as visiting professors. Many seminars and exhibitions were held at the college in order to popularize homoeopathy. The college student council organized a variety of social activities.
