Tamil Nadu Ayush Counselling 2022 will be administrated by the Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy, Chennai, who announced the notification for Tamil Nadu Ayush UG Counselling Registration 2022 or downloading the application form. Application form for admission to the 2022-2023 session of the BSMS, BAMS, and BHMS Degree Courses under the All India Quota/ Management/ Government Seats, admission will be based solely on marks obtained in the NEET-UG 2022 conducted by NTA.
Admissions in the state of Tamil Nadu are governed by the laws of the Tamil Nadu government. According to the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) / Indian Medicine Central Council (Minimum Standards of Education in Indian Medicine) Amendment Regulations, 2018 and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) / Homoeopathy (Degree course) Amendment Regulations, 2018.

Tamil Nadu Ayush Counselling Eligible Criteria
Age: No candidate shall be admitted to the BSMS / BAMS / BHMS Degree Course unless individual’s has reached the age of seventeen years on or before the 31st December of the year of admission in the first year of the course and not more than twenty-five years on or before the 31st December of the year of admission in the first year of the course, according to amended regulations. In addition, the upper age limit for OBC (BC/ BCM/ MBC/ DC) / SC/ST and PwD is lowered by five years.
Ayush Counselling AIQ & Management Quota Eligibility in Tamil Nadu
Nationality: Indian citizen.
Educational:
i) In accordance with the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) / CCIM, Minimum Standards of Education In Indian Medicine, Amendment Regulations, 2018 and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH)/CCH Amendment Regulations, 2018, admission to BSMS / BAMS / BUMS / BHMS Degree courses for this academic year will be solely based on marks obtained in the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG
In NEET UG-2022, the minimum marks for candidates with Persons with Benchmark Disabilities alone will be 45th percentile for General Category candidates and 40th percentile for BC/BC(M) / MBC / DC / SC / SCA/ ST students.
ii) A candidate must score a minimum of 50th percentile marks in NEET UG-2022 to be eligible for admission to BSMS, BAMS, or BHMS Degree courses for this academic year. The minimal marks in NEET UG-2022 for applicants belonging to BC/BC(M) / MBC / DC / SC / SCA/ ST should be at the 40th percentile.
iii) Candidates with poor marks may apply on the premise that they will only be called if the Ministry of AYUSH / NCISM/NCH revises and lowers the minimum eligibility cut off marks for BSMS / BAMS/ BHMS courses for the academic year session 2022-2023. There would be no need for additional applications.
Eligibility for Tamil Nadu Ayush Counselling Government Quota
Nativity:
i. The candidate must be a Tamil Nadu native.
ii. Candidates who are Tamil Nadu locals studied from Grades VI to XII. Outside of Tamil Nadu, schools shall generate the “Nativity Certificate” in whole or in part.
iii. In Tamil Nadu, the Certificate of Nativity should be granted by the appropriate authorities solely in the manner indicated in the prospectus (ANNEXURE IV) and accompanied by a copy of a passport, Aadhar Card, Ration Card, or Birth Certificate. The application form will be rejected if a copy of the supporting document is not provided. Later filed Nativity Certificates will be summarily rejected.
iv. Applications that do not include a valid Nativity Certificate will be rejected.
v. The Permanent Residence Certificate is not acceptable.
Foreign nationals who have studied in Tamil Nadu from 6th grade or in a college are not eligible for admission to B.S.M.S., B.A.M.S., B.U.M.S., or B.H.M.S. programmes in the 2022-23 session.
vii. Other State candidates who have studied consistently in Tamil Nadu from VI to XII Standard would be considered natives of Tamil Nadu and will be considered in the Open Category.
viii. Candidates who have received a Community Certificate from another state will not be considered for reservation and will be placed in the open category.

Registration: Candidates seeking admission must complete the registration procedure by providing personal, academic, and other essential information on the application form.
Merit list: After successfully completing the application form, the state merit list will be published by the Counselling authority.
Document verification: Candidates were notified of their state merit rank and were asked to report to the allocated verification centre with all relevant documentation.
Choice filling & locking: Following a successful verification session, candidates must fill out and lock their course and college preferences, and they are urged to enter their preferences carefully.
Seat allotments: Tamil Nadu admission 2022 will be made based on the selections made, the availability of seats, the state merit rank, and seat reservation.
Report: Candidates must report to the selected colleges on the specified days and times in order to be considered for Tamil Nadu admission.

Tamil Nadu Ayush Counselling Seat Matrix
For the academic year 2023-2024, the seat matrices for admission in Self-Financing Institutions would be 15% for the All India Quota and 85% for the State Quota, according to modified Regulations. Further, seats will be distributed between the government and the management of self-financing Minority and Non-Minority IM & H colleges in accordance with existing State policy and National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) / Central Council of Indian Medicine and National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) / Central Council of Homoeopathy rules. Seats will be shared with self-funding Ayurveda, Siddha, and Homoeopathy practitioners according to state policy, NCISM and NCH rules, and applicable court judgments.

Tamil Nadu Ayush Counselling Cutoff
