Haryana AYUSH Counselling 2026 is the state-level admission process for candidates seeking a seat in BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) and BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery) courses in Haryana’s government, government-aided and private AYUSH colleges, including institutes under private/deemed universities and UT Chandigarh.

The counselling is conducted by Shri Krishna AYUSH University (SKAU), Kurukshetra, on the basis of NEET UG 2026 rank and score. Any candidate who has appeared for NEET UG 2026 and meets the eligibility conditions set by NCISM/NCH can register for this counselling.

For the first round of Haryana AYUSH Counselling 2026, the schedule provided by Shri Krishna AYUSH University includes registration and college preference filling from 19 September to 22 September 2026, followed by seat display, grievance submission, provisional seat allocation, tuition-fee payment and document verification.

This process covers 85% of the total seats in participating colleges under State Quota, while the remaining 15% of seats are filled under the All India Quota by the Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC), Ministry of AYUSH. Haryana AYUSH Counselling Eligibility Criteria

Haryana AYUSH Counselling Registration Process

All candidates seeking admission to BAMS/BHMS courses in Haryana must register online through the SKAU University Admission Portal. The steps below follow the process described in the official notification:

• Visit the official website, skau.ac.in, and open the University Admission Portal link for UG (BAMS/BHMS) Counselling 2026.
• Complete new registration using NEET UG 2026 roll number and basic personal details.
• Fill in personal details such as name, date of birth, parents' names, and contact details.
• Enter your NEET UG 2026 application number, score and rank details.
• Fill in academic qualification details (10th and 10+2 marks).
• Select your applicable category (General/SC/D-SC/BC-A/BC-B/EWS/PwBD/ESM/FF/NRI, etc.).
• Upload the required scanned documents and photograph.
• Pay the registration-cum-counselling fee applicable to your category through the payment mode notified on the portal.
• Submit the application and note down the confirmation/registration number.
• Proceed to choice filling once the schedule opens, selecting your preferred courses and colleges in order of preference.
• Lock your choices before the deadline; unlocked choices may not be considered for seat allotment.

Security Deposit

From the second round of counselling onwards, candidates opting to participate further are required to submit a security fee.

Important points on the security deposit:

• The security fee is adjusted against the first-year course fee if the candidate joins the allotted seat.
• It is forfeited if a candidate is allotted a seat but does not join, or surrenders the seat later.
• It is forfeited if admission is cancelled due to wrong information given by the candidate at registration.
• It is refunded if no seat is allotted to the candidate, after completion of the admission process.

Attested photocopies alone are not accepted; original documents must be produced for verification. Candidates who fail to bring original documents at the time of verification will not be considered for admission, and their claim will be forfeited.

Haryana AYUSH Counselling Choice Filling

Choice filling is one of the most important steps in Haryana AYUSH Counselling 2026, since seat allotment depends entirely on the preferences filled by the candidate. The process works as follows:

• Login to the University Admission Portal using your registration credentials once choice filling opens.
• Review the seat matrix and college-wise fee structure before filling choices.
• Select your preferred combination of course (BAMS/BHMS) and college.
• Arrange your choices in the order you actually prefer, since allotment strictly follows your preference order along with your NEET UG rank.
• Save your choices as you go along; you can usually edit them until the choice-filling window closes.
• Lock your choices before the deadline. Once locked, choices generally cannot be changed for that round.
• If you do not lock your choices in time, the system may consider your last saved choices, or you may not be considered for allotment, depending on the rule notified for that round.

Before filling choices, the official notification advises candidates to:

• Segregate Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic colleges (only one private Homoeopathic college, J.R. Kissan Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Rohtak, participates; the rest are Ayurvedic).
• Separate Government/Government Aided colleges from Private and Private (Deemed University) colleges.
• Check tuition fees of each college carefully.
• Check the location of each institute.
• Note that two colleges are for girls only, Maru Singh Memorial Institute of Ayurveda (Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Khanpur Kalan) and Lal Bahadur Shastri Mahila Ayurvedic College & Hospital, Bilaspur, Yamunanagar. All other colleges are co-educational.
• Filling all colleges as choices is not mandatory; at least one choice is compulsory, and the rest can be filled as per personal preference.

Haryana AYUSH Counselling Rounds

Haryana AYUSH Counselling is conducted in the following rounds.

Round 1

• Fresh online registration, fee payment, choice filling and choice locking.
• Seat allotment strictly as per NEET UG merit and locked preferences.
• Candidates allotted a seat must report for document verification and admission within the notified time.

Round 2

• Candidates who joined in Round 1 can apply for upgradation; a fresh registration is also allowed for new candidates.
• Candidates participating from Round 2 onward must pay the applicable security fee (Rs. 5,000 or Rs. 50,000, as explained above).
• Candidates already admitted retain their seat unless upgraded to a better choice in this round.
• Fresh choices/preferences must be submitted again for this round.

Round 3/Mop-Up Round

• Vacant seats after Round 1 and Round 2 are filled in this round.
• Upgradation (shifting to another institute) is allowed only up to Round 2/Round 3, and not thereafter.
• Candidates who already joined a seat through All India or State counselling in earlier rounds are not eligible for the Mop-Up round unless they get their earlier admission formally cancelled, with forfeiture of their security fee.
• Fresh registration is allowed for candidates who have not registered earlier.

Stray Vacancy Round (if notified)

• Conducted only if seats remain vacant even after the Mop-Up round, as per directions of the Ministry of AYUSH/NCISM/State Government.
• Seats vacant under State Quota in Private Colleges after Round 3 are converted to Management Category seats and filled on the basis of All India Merit of NEET UG.

Haryana AYUSH Counselling Reservation Policy

The following reservation rules are specified in the official notification and its annexures.

Haryana AYUSH Counselling Admission Process

Once a seat is allotted in any round of Haryana AYUSH Counselling 2026, candidates need to complete the following steps to confirm admission:

• Download the provisional seat allotment letter from the University Admission Portal.
• Report in person at the allotted college with all original documents and two sets of self-attested photocopies within the schedule notified.
• Complete document verification before the Admission Committee of the concerned college.
• Pay the applicable tuition fee/first-year fee through the payment method prescribed on the admission portal.
• Sign the admission bond, wherever applicable, as per college requirement.
• Once verification and fee payment are complete, the seat is confirmed and the candidate is formally admitted.
• If a candidate wishes to upgrade in a subsequent round, they must fill fresh choices; the earlier seat is retained unless upgraded.

Candidates should note that leaving the course after joining, beyond three days prior to the last date of admission notified by NCISM/NCH, makes the candidate liable to pay the entire course tuition fee of the respective college, as per the bond signed at the time of admission.

Haryana AYUSH Counselling 2026 merit list is prepared strictly on the basis of the candidate's NEET UG 2026 score and rank. Key points:

• The merit list for State Quota seats is drawn as per the state list based on NEET UG rank of candidates who have registered on the University Admission Portal.
• Category-wise merit is also considered for allotment against reserved category seats, subject to submission of valid category certificates.
• The final merit-based allocation of institution/course is made strictly as per NEET UG rank, and the candidate's choice/preference filled on the portal is treated as final.
• After the merit list is published, candidates should check their rank position, verify their category status, and proceed to choice filling as per the schedule.

Haryana AYUSH Counselling Seat Allotment

Seat allotment in Haryana AYUSH Counselling 2026 is done purely on the basis of NEET UG 2026 merit and the choices filled by the candidate. Key rules from the official notification:

• Allotment of institute/course is made strictly as per the rank drawn from NEET UG merit in the State List or All India List, as applicable.
• The candidate who has been allotted a seat must report in person for document verification with original documents and two sets of self-attested photocopies before the Admission Committee of the concerned college.
• Online seat allotment alone does not give a legal right to the seat. The seat is confirmed only after successful document verification within the notified time.
• The Admission Committee of the concerned college can cancel an allotted seat if documents are found incomplete, invalid or false.
