Haryana AYUSH Counselling 2024 will be conducted by the Shri Krishna AYUSH University Kurukshetra, offers a streamlined admission process for aspiring students seeking admission into BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BSMS and BNYS courses under the state quota. The curriculum for these AYUSH courses aligns with the standards set by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), ensuring a complete education in traditional medical systems. The online counselling process allows candidates to apply to both government and private AYUSH colleges within Haryana. Following the announcement of the NEET exam results on June 14, 2024, the registration for Haryana AYUSH Counselling 2024 is expected to commence in the first week of September. The Shri Krishna AYUSH University Kurukshetra will oversee the counselling for 85% of seats in government BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS & BNYS colleges and all seats in private BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS & BNYS colleges in Haryana. Haryana AYUSH Counselling Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility CriteriaDescription
CitizenshipThe candidate must be a citizen of India.
Haryana ResidentCandidates must be bonafide residents of Haryana, as per guidelines issued by the Chief Secretary to the Government of Haryana. They or their parents should possess a Haryana Residence Certificate as per Government instructions, or any modifications issued by the competent authority from time to time.
NEET EligibilityAll candidates (General/SC/D-SC/BC-A/BC-B/Benchmark disabilities/EWS/ESM/FF) must meet the minimum eligibility criteria, qualifications, and qualifying criteria specified in the information bulletin for the NEET (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test) issued by NTA (National Testing Agency) for the Academic year 2024-25. This also includes adhering to the regulations of NCISM/NCH, New Delhi, as issued from time to time. Candidates who do not obtain the minimum eligibility marks specified in NEET UG-2024 will not be eligible for admission to BAMS/BHMS courses.
Educational QualificationPassed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks for General category candidates and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC category candidates
Reserve CategoriesCandidates belonging to different reserved categories applying to Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College, Chandigarh, must submit relevant documents issued by the concerned competent authorities.
Management CategoryFor the Management category, candidates from all over India are eligible, regardless of their state of domicile and place of study.

Important Notification on Seat Allocation

The following notification outlines the allocation of seats in Government, Private Institutions, Private/Deemed Universities, and Private Institutions in the state of Haryana for the Academic Session 2024-25:

  1. 15% of the seats in Government/ Private Institutions/ Private/Deemed Universities covered by this Notification fall under the All India Merit Category of NEET UG-2024. Counseling for these seats will be conducted by the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India/ National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (hereinafter referred to as NCISM)/ Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra. The selection will be based on the All India merit ranking of NEET UG-2024.
  2. The remaining 85% of the seats will be subject to counseling conducted by Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra, based on the NEET UG-2024 scores.
  3. In all Private Institutions within the state of Haryana covered by this Notification, for the Academic Session 2024-25, 50% of the seats will be designated as State Quota seats, while the remaining 50% will fall under the Management category.
  4. Within the 50% Management category seats, 15% will be reserved for the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) Category.

Haryana AYUSH Counselling is administered by the State Counselling Authority (Shri Krishna Ayush University Kurukshetra), covering 85% of the seats in Government Colleges and 100% of the seats in Private Colleges under the State Quota. The remaining 15% of seats in Government Colleges are managed by the AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) under the All India Quota. The counselling process for both categories is distinct. For Haryana AYUSH Counselling under the State Quota, candidates must follow the guidelines and schedule set by the State Counselling Authority. Meanwhile, for the AACCC AYUSH Counselling under the All India Quota, candidates need to adhere to the procedures established by the AACCC, ensuring a transparent and systematic allocation of seats for AYUSH courses.

Haryana AYUSH Counselling Process - State Quota

Step 1: Registration

  • Visit the official website of Shri Krishna AYUSH University Kurukshetra at (https://skau.ac.in/).
  • Complete the registration process by providing the required information.
  • The registration fee is Rs. 2,000 for unreserved candidates and Rs. 500 for SC/BC/EWS candidates from Haryana State.

Step 2: Choice Filling

  • Log in to your account on the official website.
  • Fill in your preferred choices of colleges and courses.
  • You can choose up to 10 choices in order of preference.

Step 3: Seat Allotment

  • Seats will be allotted based on your rank in the AYUSH NEET 2024 exam, caste/category, and choice of college and course.
  • The seat allotment will be conducted in multiple rounds.
  • Candidates with a higher rank will have a higher chance of getting their preferred choice.

Step 4: Payment of Fees

  • If you have been allotted a seat, you need to pay the required fees to confirm your admission.
  • The fee amount will vary depending on the college and course you have been allotted.

Step 5: Reporting to College

  • After confirming your admission by paying the fees, you need to report to the allotted college in person.
  • Complete the admission formalities and submit your original documents, including your AYUSH NEET 2024 admit card, mark sheet, and caste/category certificate.

Admission to Management Category Seats

The admission procedure for Management Category seats in private Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic Colleges in Haryana is similar to that followed for State Quota seats in Government/Government Aided and Open Merit Category seats in private colleges. However, the merit for Management Category seats will be drawn based on the All India Merit of NEET UG-2024.

Admission to All India Quota Seats

  • For All India Quota seats of ASU&H UG courses in Government, Government Aided ASU&H colleges, National Institutes, Central Universities, and Deemed Universities, counseling will be conducted by AACCC, Ministry of AYUSH.
  • Counseling for All India Quota seats of ASU&H UG courses in Private Institutions (other than Deemed Universities) under their jurisdiction shall be conducted by the respective counseling authority of the State/UT Government.
  • State/UT counseling authorities will conduct a minimum of two rounds of counseling for All India Quota (AIQ) UG seats of Private ASU&H Institutes. After the second round, if AIQ seats are not filled, these vacant seats will be converted into the State/UT Government quota seats and filled according to State Government rules.
  • There will be no requirement for any domicile certificate for the allotment of seats in AIQ UG seats of Private ASU&H Institutes.
  • Reservation for allotment of AIQ UG seats in Private ASU&H Institutes: All AIQ UG seats of Private ASU&H Institutes are open in nature. However, relaxation in qualifying criteria shall be provided category-wise as mentioned in relevant regulations.

Admission to NRI Category (NRIs/PIOs/OCIs/Foreign Nationals)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • All admissions under the NRI category will be based on the merit of NEET-2024.
  • Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), and Foreign Nationals who have qualified NEET can also apply under the NRI category.
  • Foreign Nationals will be considered for admission under the NRI quota only if there are vacant seats left after considering the applications of NRIs, PIOs, and OCIs.

Preference for Admission

Preference for admission under the NRI category will be given in the following order:

  • Actual NRIs/PIOs/OCIs who originally belonged to the State of Haryana (for colleges in Haryana) & UT Chandigarh, respectively, as the case may be.
  • Children of NRIs/PIOs/OCIs who originally belonged to the State of Haryana (for colleges in Haryana) & UT Chandigarh, respectively, as the case may be.
  • Actual NRIs/PIOs/OCIs who originally belonged to an Indian State or Union Territory other than Haryana & UT Chandigarh, respectively, as the case may be.
  • Children of NRIs/PIOs/OCIs who originally belonged to an Indian State or Union Territory other than Haryana & UT Chandigarh, respectively, as the case may be.
  • Students who have a first-degree relation (real brother, sister, uncle, aunt, grandfather, grandmother, first-degree cousins) who is an NRI and resides abroad may also be considered eligible.

Vacant Seats:

  • Any seats remaining vacant under the NRI category after the second round of counseling will go to NEET-qualified eligible foreign nationals.
  • If seats still remain vacant, they will be converted to General Category seats in Government/Government-aided B.A.M.S./B.H.M.S. Colleges and Management Category seats in Private Colleges.

AACCC Counselling Process 

AYUSH UG counselling refers to the counseling process for undergraduate programs in the field of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy. These programs are collectively known as AYUSH courses and are offered by various colleges and universities in India. The counselling process for AYUSH UG courses is conducted by the respective state and central counseling authorities (AACCC).

The online counselling for the allocation of 15% All India Quota Seats in Undergraduate (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) courses at Government/Government-aided Ayurveda/Siddha/Unani/Homoeopathy Colleges, Deemed Universities (100%), Central Universities/National Institutes is being conducted by the AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. On the other hand, candidates seeking admission through the 85% state quota for AYUSH courses should apply to the respective state counselling authorities.

  • AACCC – UG Counselling
  1. 15% All India Quota UG (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) seats under Govt./Govt. aided institute of all States/ Union Territories.
  2. 100% UG (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) seats under National/ Central Institutes.
  3. 100% UG (BAMS) seats under Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
  4. 50% BUMS seats of AMU, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.
  5. 50% BAMS & BHMS seats of NEIA&H, Shilong, Meghalaya.
  6. 100% UG (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) seats of all Deemed Universities.
  7. 100% UG seats (15% All India Quota + 85% Delhi Quota) of ASU & H Institutes under Delhi University as per eligibility conditions provided by the University.
