Shri Krishna Government Ayurvedic College & Hospital, Kurukshetra is one of Haryana’s well-known Government Ayurvedic Colleges. The college, popularly known as SKGAC Kurukshetra, was established in 1972. It is affiliated with Shri Krishna AYUSH University in Kurukshetra and is recognized by the National Commission for Indian System Of Medicine- NCISM

This college is affiliated with and follows the regulations, syllabus, and academic guidelines of Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra. As well as the Central Council of Indian Medicine and the Government of India. This college offers B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) and Diploma in Pharmacy programmes (Ayurvedic). There are 63 authorised seats for B.A.M.S. and 63 authorised seats for D.Phatmacy (Ay.) All B.A.M.S. admissions are made on the basis of NEET examination merit.

The college has excellent infrastructure, including beautiful buildings that meet N.C.I.S.M./Govt. of India standards. The college has a 5-acre herbal garden with over 5000 medicinal plants. The college meets almost all of the National Commission for Indian System Of Medicine- NCISM/Government of India’s essential requirements. In 2008, the Government of India designated Shri Krishna Govt. Ayurvedic College in Kurukshetra is a Model Institute of Ayurveda. There are four lecture theatres with audio-visual capabilities and three classrooms. The library at the college is beautiful, with over 10,000 books. A new beautiful building houses the girl’s hostel, which has a capacity of 96 beds, and the boy’s hostel, which has a capacity of 100 beds.

The college has a fully operational 108-bed hospital. The state government and the drug testing laboratory Pharmacy is also being established on the college campus for students’ practical training. This institute has good facilities for sports and NSS programmes, and it also holds training programmes for doctors, teachers, and paramedics on occasion, as well as free Ayurvedic camps. The hospital currently has 14 OPD/IPD (14 in each department). Ayurvedic medicines, pathology tests, X-rays, and ECG are all provided free of charge to patients in the hospital.

Ayurvedic College is now a unique Institute not only in Haryana but also in Northern India. Efforts are being made to improve/develop for the benefit of students and society.

Round 2: Eligibility for Participation

  • NEET (UG)-2024 qualified candidates who have not registered in the 1st Round.

  • Candidates who opted for free exit in the 1st Round.
  • Candidates who joined the allotted seat in the 1st Round and submitted willingness for up-gradation in the 2nd Round.

Stray Vacancy Round for AIQG/AIQGA/CU/NI

  • Seats that remain vacant after the 3rd/Mop-up Round will be filled through the AACCC’s online Stray Vacancy Round.
  • Eligibility for Participation:
  • All registered candidates were not admitted to any seats through AACCC-UG counseling or state/UT counseling.

Process:

  • No fresh registration in the Stray Vacancy Round.
  • Submit willingness in the AACCC-UG portal to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round with an undertaking that you do not hold any UG (ASU&H) seats allotted through AACCC-UG counseling or counseling conducted by State/UTs.
  • Option for choice filling is available.
  • No upgrade is available from the 3rd/Mop-up Round to the Stray Vacancy Round.

Stray Vacancy Round for Deemed University

  • The respective Deemed Universities conduct the Stray Vacancy Round for seat allotment under Deemed Universities.
  • AACCC will send a list of eligible registered candidates to Deemed Universities for the Stray Vacancy Round, which will be exercised strictly in order of merit.
  • The seats are domicile-free, and only registered AACCC-UG counseling candidates are eligible for admission.

Haryana Ayush Counselling Process

Step 1: Registration
