AACCC (Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee) of the Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India, New Delhi, is conducting online counselling for the allocation of AIQ-Undergraduate(BAMS/ BSMS/ BUMS/ BHMS) seats in Ayurveda/ Siddha/ Unani/ Homoeopathy. /Govt. Aided/Central Universities/National Institutes/Deemed Universities, have provided 100% of NEET (UG) qualified eligible candidates Since 2019. The allocation of seats for the academic year 2024-25 is based on the candidate’s performance in the National Testing Agency’s NEET (UG)-2024 Examination (NTA).
The AYUSH Counselling is held online according to the dates published by the AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) on its AACCC counselling official website (aaccc.gov.in) for candidates to participate in the seat allocation process.
The result for AACCC AYUSH Counselling 2024 is published on 5th September 2024. Candidates report to their allotted institute from 6th September to 11th September 2024. - 100% UG (BAMS) seats under Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
- 50% BUMS seats of AMU, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.
- 50% BAMS & BHMS seats of NEIA&H, Shilong, Meghalaya.

Further, the role of AACCC, Ministry Of Ayush is limited to the allotment of seats to the participating candidates, as per their merit and choices, which starts only after receiving the list/data/information of qualified candidates from the National Testing Agency.
Counselling Types & Rounds
15% ALL INDIA QUOTA OF GOVT./GOVT-AIDED COLLEGES:
- Candidates who have passed the NEET (UG) – 2024 Examination are eligible. (Except the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir).
- The AACCC, Ministry Of Ayush will hold four rounds of online counselling for admission to 15% All India Quota seats in Govt./Govt-Aided colleges/institutions. Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Stray Vacancy Round.
- After the completion of the third / mop-up round, the Stray Vacancy round will be held for admission in vacant seats (non-reporting/nonjoining).
- After completing all rounds of AACCC-UG counselling, no seats will be returned to participating institutes.
CENTRAL UNIVERSITIES / NATIONAL INSTITUTES:
- Candidates who have passed the NEET (UG) – 2024 Examination are eligible. (Except the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir).
- The AACCC, M/o Ayush will hold four rounds of online counselling for admission to Central Universities and National Institutes: i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Stray Vacancy Round.
- After the completion of the third / mop-up round, the Stray Vacancy round will be held for admission in vacant seats (non-reporting/nonjoining).
- After completing all rounds of AACCC-UG counselling, no seats will be returned to participating institutes.
100% DEEMED UNIVERSITY:
- Candidates who have passed the NEET (UG) – 2024 Examination are eligible. (Except the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir).
- There will be four counselling sessions, i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Stray Vacancy Round.
- The AACCC, M/o Ayush, will conduct three of the four rounds online, namely Round 1, Round 2, and the third /Mop-Up Round.
- The Stray Vacancy round will be conducted by the respective Deemed Universities, and the AACCC, M/o Ayush will forward the list of registered eligible candidates to the respective Deemed Universities.
- Only candidates who have registered for the AACCC-UG counselling are eligible for the Deemed Universities’ Stray Vacancy Round.
- All UG seats in Deemed Universities are domicile-free and unreserved, i.e. the Central Government’s reservation policy does not apply.

AACCC AYUSH Counselling Online Registration & Process
Step 1: Visit the AACCC counselling website (www.aaccc.gov.in).
Step 2: Register on the AACCC-UG portal using the same Email address and Mobile Number submitted during NEET-UG 2024 registration.
Step 3: Download the ‘Sandes app’ on your registered phone number to receive OTP for registration.
Step 4: Use a Laptop or Computer with the latest version of Chrome/Internet Explorer/Firefox/Windows/IOS for a smooth registration process.
Step 5: Provide accurate information during registration as your allocation will be based on it.
Step 6: Complete the registration process by following the instructions on the AACCC-UG portal.

AACCC Counselling Process
Round 1: Eligibility for Participation
Only NEET (UG) – 2024qualified candidates are eligible for AACCC-UG counselling.
Process:
- Register for AACCC-UG Counselling.
- Pay the Counselling Fee (Non-Refundable Registration Fee + Security Deposit Money).
- Fill in and lock your choices.
- The seat allotment list will be published (result).
- Physically report to the allotted college.
Round 2: Eligibility for Participation
- NEET (UG)-2024 qualified candidates who have not registered in the 1st Round.
- Candidates registered in the 1st Round but were not allotted a seat.
- Candidates who opted for free exit in the 1st Round.
- Candidates who joined the allotted seat in the 1st Round and submitted willingness for up-gradation in the 2nd Round.
Process:
- Register for AACCC-UG Counselling (Candidates from the 1st Round need not register again).
- Pay the Counselling Fee (Non-Refundable Registration Fee + Security Money) if not paid already.
- Fill in and lock your choices.
- The seat allotment list will be published (result).
- Physically report to the allotted college.
Round 3/Mop-up Round: Eligibility for Participation
- NEET (UG)-2024 qualified candidates who have not registered in the 1st Round & 2nd Round.
- Candidates who have already registered but were not allotted seats in the 1st Round & 2nd Round.
- Candidates registered in Round 1/Round 2 and availed of Free Exit.
- Candidates who joined the 1st Round were allotted seats and submitted willingness for upgradation but did not participate in the 2nd Round of counselling.
- Candidates who joined the allotted seat in the 2nd Round and submitted willingness for up-gradation in the AACCC counselling 3rd Round.
- Candidates who leave/resign the allotted seat in the 2nd Round, with forfeiture of Security money, three days before the commencement of the 3rd Round can participate with payment of complete fees.
Process:
- Register for AACCC-UG Counselling (Candidates from the 1st Round/2nd Round need not register again).
- Pay the Counselling Fee (non-refundable Registration Fee and Security Money if not paid already).
- Fill in and lock your choices.
- The seat allotment list will be published (result).
- Physically report to the allotted college.
Stray Vacancy Round for AIQG/AIQGA/CU/NI
- Seats that remain vacant after the 3rd/Mop-up Round will be filled through the AACCC’s online Stray Vacancy Round.
- Eligibility for Participation:
- All registered candidates were not admitted to any seats through AACCC-UG counselling or state/UT counselling.
Process:
- No fresh registration in the Stray Vacancy Round.
- Submit willingness in the AACCC-UG portal to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round with an undertaking that you do not hold any UG (ASU&H) seats allotted through AACCC-UG counselling or counselling conducted by State/UTs.
- Option for choice filling is available.
- No upgrade is available from the 3rd/Mop-up Round to the Stray Vacancy Round.
Stray Vacancy Round for Deemed University
- The respective Deemed Universities conduct the Stray Vacancy Round for seat allotment under Deemed Universities.
- AACCC will send a list of eligible registered candidates to Deemed Universities for the Stray Vacancy Round, which will be exercised strictly in order of merit.
- The seats are domicile-free, and only registered AACCC-UG counselling candidates are eligible for admission.

Documents Required at the Time of Joining Allotted Ayush College
AACCC Counselling Documents Required (Original along with attested photocopies of documents) at the time of joining in allotted AYUSH College are as below:
- Admit Cards for the NEET (UG)-2024 Exam issued by NTA.
- NEET (UG)-2024 Result/ Rank letter issued by NTA.
- Date of Birth Certificate (if the 10th Standard Certificate does not bear the same)
- Class 10th passed Certificate
- Class 10+2 Passed Certificate
- Class 10+2 Marks Sheet
- Eight (8) Passport size photographs. (Same as affixed on the NEET (UG)- 2024/AACCC-UG counselling-2024 online application form).
- Provisional Allotment Letter generated online from the AACCC portal.

AACCC Counselling Fees: FEES TO BE PAID AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION
Here is the bifurcation of AACCC Counselling 2024 Fees, Students must pay two types of fees when they register:
- Non-Refundable Registration Fee
- Rs. 1000/- for AIQG-college/AIQGA-college/Central University/National Institute UR/EWS/OBC candidates.
- Rs. 500/- For SC/ ST/ PWD
- Rs. 5000/- For DeemedUniversity for all Categories
- AACCC Counselling Refund (Security Fees) will be refunded to candidates after they join the allotted college within the time frame specified in the schedule, or if they do not get a seat during all rounds of counselling, to the bank account provided by the candidate when registering for AACCC-UG counselling.
For admission to AIQG-college/AIQGA-college/National Institute/ Central University:
- For UR/EWS/OBC candidates– Rs.10,000/-
- For SC/ST/ PWD –Rs. 10,000/-
For admission to Deemed University -Rs. 50,000/-For example:
- Any candidate opting for Deemed University will have to pay an amount of Rs.55000/- at the time of registration (i.e., Rs 5000/- Non-Refundable Registration fee + Rs. 50,000/- Refundable Security fee.)
- Any OBC candidate opting for an AIQG seat only will have to pay an amount of Rs.11000/- at the time of registration (i.e., Rs 1000/- Non-Refundable Registration fee + Rs. 10,000/- refundable Security fee.)

AACCC Counselling FAQs
Is the security deposit refundable in Ayush Counselling?
For – 15% AIQ/ CU /NI, the fee is refundable if the applicant has paid Rs. 10,000 as a security amount and if the applicant has paid Rs. 1000 as registration fees then the amount is non-refundable.
When will the AACCC-UG online seat allotment process for this Academic Year start?
The Online seat allotment process will start as per the Schedule of the AACCC-UG Counselling for the Academic Year. Please See the Schedule and notices uploaded on the AACCC Counselling website (www.aaccc.gov.in) from time to time.
What is Aaccc Counselling?
The Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) of the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, New Delhi, is online counselling conducting authority for the allocation of 15% All India Quota Seats in Undergraduate (BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS) and Postgraduate (MD/MS) courses under Govt./Govt.
How is BAMS Counselling done?
The authorities will conduct the BAMS 2024 counselling round based on the candidate’s NEET 2024 score. Candidates who score higher than the cutoff marks will be able to participate in the counselling round.
How many rounds are there in BAMS Counselling?
There will be a maximum of two rounds for BAMS admission. There will be one round for option entry and a second round for offline counselling. If there are any open seats for Ayurvedic admission, there may be a mop-up round. However, the majority of government quotas and private seats will be filled in two rounds. You can also apply for direct admissions via management quotas.
How many marks are required in NEET for Ayush in a government college?
The qualifying aggregate marks for unreserved applicants in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are 50%. It is 40% for OBC, ST, and SC candidates and 45% for PWD candidates.
When will the Refundable security amount be refunded, if I am eligible as per the Refund Policy?
Refund will be initiated only after completion of all rounds of AACCC–UG Counselling.
How and when do I have to make the payment for AACCC-UG counselling?
After registration, the payment page appears automatically. Candidates can only make online payments by Net Banking /credit card/ debit card. After the successful completion of payment, the candidate can proceed with choice filling.
Do I require any documents to get registered online?
Since it is an online allotment (Counselling) process, no documents are required.
