State Unani Medical College Prayagraj (SUMC) is a government medical college in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. Allama Hakim Ahmad Husain Usmani, the college’s founder, established the institution in 1904. All students admitted to the institution through the UP CPMT (formerly CPAT) programme are enrolled in the BUMS programme.
State Unani Medical College Prayagraj is associated with the Shri Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur, and is certified by the National Commission for Indian System Of Medicine- NCISM. It offers excellent possibilities and facilities to all students.
Allama Hakim Ahmad Husain Usmani learned basic education, including mantiq o falsafa, under the mentorship of Allahabad’s Haji Hafiz Hakim Sufi Mohammad Husain. He proceeded to Lucknow to study Tib science and Unani medicine under Tabib Dar Ul Shifa. Haider Husain, Shahi Hakim.
Hakim Ahmad Husain abandoned his family and relocated to Calcutta, where he practised Unani medicine at Nakhuda ki Masjid for many years. Then he returned to Allahabad, spoke with his parents, and attempted to combine all of his confiscated property.
He was determined to do something for humanity and founded Tibbi Madersa in 1904 at his home in Sabzimandi Allahabad. This Madersa developed into the Unani Medical College, which was relocated to its current location. The state of Uttar Pradesh took over this institution in 1982 after the U.P. Assembly passed a law to provincialize it.
There are just 35 medical colleges in India that offer educational programmes in the Unani system. Some colleges admit students through state and national level entrance exams.

- All registered candidates who were not admitted to any seats through AACCC-UG counseling or state/UT counseling.
Process:
- No fresh registration in the Stray Vacancy Round.
- Submit willingness in the AACCC-UG portal to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round with an undertaking that you do not hold any UG (ASU&H) seats allotted through AACCC-UG counseling or counseling conducted by State/UTs.
- Option for choice filling is available.

Stray Vacancy Round for Deemed University
