Shri Narayan Prasad Awasthi Government Ayurved College is one of Chhattisgarh’s well-known Government Ayurved Colleges. Shri Narayan Govt. Ayurved College Raipur was established in 1950. Shri Narayan Govt. Ayurved College Raipur is the college’s popular name. Ayurveda by Shri Narayan Prasad Awasthi Raipur is associated with Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences is recognized by the National Commission for Indian System Of Medicine- NCISM.

The Govt. Ayurved College Raipur is located on 89.3 acres of lush green eco-friendly campus. The famous Malgujar Late Shri Narayan Prasad Awasthiji donated five villages for this purpose. Similarly, a prominent businessman, Late Shri N. K. Dungaji, gave 23 acres of land in memory of his father-in-law, Late Shri Khudadad Dungaji. Shri Khudadad Dungaji Govt. Ayurved College Hospital and Pharmacy are currently operating on this land.

The College takes very strict action against any kind of ragging activity, and the campus is constantly monitored to prevent ragging. Students on campus come from all over the state and country, representing a diverse range of cultures.  All efforts are being taken for the smooth induction of the student orientation programs with the help of Departmental academicians. On-campus amenities include internet access, an e-library, a canteen, a pharmacy, and a State drug testing laboratory and research Centre.
