Rajiv Gandhi Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital (RGAMC&H) was established at Mahe in 2010 with the approval of the Department of AYUSH, Government of India. This institution is run by the Perunthalaivar Kamaraj Medical College Society (PKMCS), which is overseen by the Puducherry government. This is the only college in South India that is funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi.

This college was founded to provide students with the best Ayurvedic care possible, and it currently offers BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) Certificate Courses. The College has earned a reputation as one of the best Ayurveda colleges in Mahe, Puducherry.

Stray Vacancy Round for AIQG/AIQGA/CU/NI

  • Seats that remain vacant after the 3rd/Mop-up Round will be filled through the AACCC’s online Stray Vacancy Round.
  • Eligibility for Participation:
  • All registered candidates who were not admitted to any seats through AACCC-UG counseling or state/UT counseling.

Process:

  • No fresh registration in the Stray Vacancy Round.
  • Submit willingness in the AACCC-UG portal to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round with an undertaking that you do not hold any UG (ASU&H) seats allotted through AACCC-UG counseling or counseling conducted by State/UTs.
  • Option for choice filling is available.
  • No upgradation is available from the 3rd/Mop-up Round to the Stray Vacancy Round.

Stray Vacancy Round for Deemed University

  • The respective Deemed Universities conduct the Stray Vacancy Round for seat allotment under Deemed Universities.
  • AACCC will send a list of eligible registered candidates to Deemed Universities for the Stray Vacancy Round, which will be exercised strictly in order of merit.
  • The seats are domicile-free, and only registered AACCC-UG counseling candidates are eligible for admission.

AACCC Counselling Documents Required (Original along with attested photocopies of documents) at the time of joining in allotted AYUSH College are as below:

  • Admit Cards for the NEET (UG)-2024 Exam issued by NTA.
  • NEET (UG)-2024 Result/ Rank letter issued by NTA.
  • Date of Birth Certificate (if 10th Standard Certificate does not bear the same)
  • Class 10th passed Certificate
  • Class 10+2 Passed Certificate
  • Class 10+2 Marks Sheet
  • Eight (8) Passport size photographs. (Same as affixed on the NEET (UG)- 2024/AACCC-UG counseling-2024 online application form).
  • Provisional Allotment Letter generated online from the AACCC portal.
  • Proof of identity (Aadhar/ PAN/ Driving License/ Passport/ Voter ID )
  • Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner in the prescribed format as attached in Annexure-VI.

Puducherry Ayush Counselling Process

Step 1: Online Registration

  • Candidates register online through the official counseling website by providing personal details, educational qualifications, and other necessary information.

Step 2: Choice Filling

  • After registration, candidates fill in their preferred choices of AYUSH courses and colleges/institutions based on their eligibility and interest.

Step 3: Document Verification

  • Candidates attend the document verification process as per the scheduled date and time. They submit the required documents for verification, including academic certificates, identity proof, domicile certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), and other relevant documents.

Step 4: Merit List Publication

  • Once the document verification process is completed, a merit list is prepared based on candidates’ preferences and merit in the qualifying examination and entrance test (if applicable). The merit list is published on the official website, displaying the rank secured by each candidate.

Step 5: Seat Allotment

  • Seats are allotted to candidates based on their rank in the merit list, choices filled, and availability of seats. The seat allotment process is conducted online. Candidates can check their allotment status and download the provisional allotment letter from the official website.

Step 6: Reporting to Allotted College

  • Candidates who are allotted seats need to physically report to the respective allotted college within the specified time frame. They complete the admission formalities, pay the admission fees, and submit the required documents for verification.
