Haryana Ayush PG Counselling is conducted by the Shri Krishna Ayush University, Kurukshekstra which also has the approval of the Department of India, the Department of Ayush, and All other governing bodies such as the National Commission of Indian Medicine and National Commission of Homeopathy. PG Ayush counselling is done on the basis of the AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Post-Graduate Entrance Test) Score for Admission in all the Post Graduate Courses such as MD/MS courses in all Indian medical systems.

15% of the seats are under the All India Merit Category of AIAPGET, for which counselling is conducted by the Department of AYUSH Government of India/National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (hereafter referred to as NCISM) on the basis of AIAPGET All India Merit, and the remaining 85% of the seats will be conducted by Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra, Haryana on the basis of AIAPGET. 

5% of the State Quota seats shall be filled by candidates with benchmark disabilities in accordance with the guidelines for admission to students with specific disabilities based on the AIAPGET merit list as per NCISM guidelines issued from time to time. 25% seats shall be reserved (Institutional preference) for the candidates who have passed BAMS

 courses from the Institutions located in the State of Haryana for admission to MD/MS (Ayurveda) courses under State Quota seats.

Haryana PG Ayush Counselling Eligibility Criteria 

  • Candidate must has passed an Ayush course examination from a recognised university/institution in Haryana as a bona fide resident of Haryana, or has passed an examination from any other Ayush College/Institution recognised by the NCISM/Ministry of Ayush, New Delhi, and who/whose parent(s) produces a Haryana Resident Certificate in accordance with Government instructions or any modification issued by competent authority from time to time.
  • Candidates should have satisfactorily completed a one-year compulsory Rotatory Internship from an institution recognised by the NCISM/State Govt./Ministry of AYUSH for this purpose, as per the NTA Public Notice.
  • The candidate must be registered with the State Ayurvedic Council/NCISM New Delhi.
  • No candidate who fails to obtain the minimum eligibility marks (as specified in AIAPGET) will be admitted to MD/MS Courses.

Haryana PG Ayush Counselling Process For State Quota

Admissions for all the categories will be made online among all registered candidates on the admission web portal based on the Haryana State Merit list prepared on the basis of AIAPGET.

  • Visit the Haryan Online Portal’s official website at https://skau.ac.in/
  • The information required in the online application, such as the applicant’s name and date of birth, as well as the name of the applicant’s father/mother with correct spellings as per the class 10th certificate, must be filled out.
  • Application fee can be paid via Payment Gateway.
  • Candidates must ensure that all information on the application form is correct, including date of birth, name spellings, father/name, mother’s and categories claimed.
  • You can obtain your login ID and password after completing the online registration process on the Punjab Online portal.

  • Candidate must read the Notification carefully for admissions to MD/MS (Ayurveda) for the session 2022-23 before filling up the application form
  • Any concealment of information or wrong information if given by the candidate, shall lead to the cancellation of candidature without any further Notice.

Procedure For Admission to State Quota

  • The admissions under above stated categories among all the registered candidates on the admission web portal will be made online on the basis of Haryana State Merit list prepared on the basis of AIAPGET-2022.
  • Candidates applying on the basis of AIAPGET-2022 must meet the eligibility criteria for admissions outlined in AIAPGET-2022.
  • In the event of a tie between two or more candidates with equal marks, the candidates’ inter-se ranking will be based on their AIAPGET-2022 rank.
  • The candidate must fill out the online web portal with their college/course/specialty preferences. The candidate’s choices of college/course/specialty in the order of preferences will be considered final.
  • Candidates who have been provisionally assigned a seat must appear in person before the Admission Committee of the allotted college/institute for document verification (with all original documents and two sets of self-attested Photostat copies). The detailed schedule will be announced later, and candidates must regularly visit the above-mentioned website for updates.
  • The provisional allocation of the seat online confers no legal right on the candidate, and the seat will be confirmed only after document verification within the specified time period. The Admission Committee reserves the right to cancel a candidate’s provisional seat allocation if their documents are incomplete or invalid.
  • If there are any vacancies after the first round of counselling, they will be filled during the second round of counselling.
  • Participation in the second round will require a new registration. New candidates must first register on the admissions web portal. Candidates are advised to check the Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra website www.skau.ac.in and the admission web portal for updates on a regular basis.
  • Candidates who have already registered for the first round and wish to participate in the second round will not have to register again. They must, however, express their willingness/option to participate in the second round of online counselling by resubmitting the previous online form with the same registration number, the security fee, and any changes to their choices.
  • Candidates who wish to participate in the second round of PG Counseling must pay a security fee of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. 5,000/- for Haryana State SC/DSC/BC/ EWS/ESM/FF/PwD) at the time of form filling/ willingness or preference filling online. Fresh candidates must also pay the registration fee as specified in the P.G. Courses Notification. If a candidate fails to deposit the required amount, he or she will be ineligible to participate in the second round of Counseling. This amount will be later adjusted in the first-year course fee and refunded if no seat is allotted.

Mop Up Round

Eligibility 

  • a) AIAPGET-2022 qualified candidates who have not registered in Round 1 & Round 2. 
  • b) Candidates who have already registered but were not allotted seats in the 1 st Round & 2 nd Round. (No need to register again.) 
  • c) Candidates joined in the 1st Round allotted seat and submitted willingness for up-gradation, but did not participate in the 2 nd Round of counseling. 
  • d) Candidates joined the allotted seat in the 2nd Round and submitted willingness for up-gradation in the 3rd Round. 
  • e) Candidates who leave/resign the allotted seat in the 2nd Round, with forfeiture of Security money, three days before the commencement of the registration for 3 rd Round, can participate with payment of complete fees. 

Counselling Process

  • Step 1: Registration for AACCC-PG Counseling. (Those candidates who participated in 1st Round/2nd Round need not be registered again) 
  • Step 2: Payment of Counselling Fee includes Non-Refundable Registration Fee + Security Money (No Need to pay by those candidates who have already paid the counseling fee at the time of registration for 1st Round /2nd Round) 
  • Step 3: Choice filling and locking

 Stray Vacancy Round

The seats remain vacant (not joined/withdrawn) after the 3rd/Mop-up Round of AACCC-PG Counseling of Govt./Govt. Aided colleges/CU/NI will continue to be filled through the online Stray Vacancy Round conducted by the AACCC, M/o Ayush. 

Eligibility for participation

All registered candidates who have not been admitted to any of the seats through AACCC-PG counseling or counseling conducted by State/UTs are eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round. 

Counselling Process

  • There is no Fresh Registration in Stray Vacancy Round.  
  • Candidates must submit a willingness in the AACCC-PG portal to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round with an undertaking that they are not holding any PG (ASU&H) seats allotted through AACCC-PG counseling or counseling conducted by State/UTs.  
  • Option for choice filling is available in the Stray Vacancy Round.  
  • No up-gradation is available from the 3 rd/ Mop-up Round to the Stray Vacancy Round
