Ashtamgam Ayurveda Chikitsalayam & Vidyapeedham Palakkad is an institution in a league of its own, founded in 2011 under the auspices of Ashtanga Educational Trust (AET), with the mission of preserving the heritage of a great tradition of Ayurveda. In 2013, it began operating as an OP consulting unit with a modest treatment facility. Today, it is home to Ashtamgam Ayurveda Chikitsalayam, one of the best Ayurveda teaching hospitals in the state of Kerala, which is connected to Ashtamgam Ayurveda Vidyapeedham, a residential ayurvedic school.
The mission of AACV is to continue a great tradition, and it is committed to working hard to accomplish that goal. With the goal of becoming a national model for ayurveda education, it has taken care of every stage of growth from the beginning and boasts the best resources in terms of both facilities and staff for every aspect of operation.
The Ashtanga Educational Trust (AET), a charitable trust that is governed by a group of dedicated individuals who have an unwavering dedication to the trust’s stated objectives, manages AACV. AET is a trust that is registered under the Charitable Trust Act. A specifically constituted CMC (College Management Committee) is regulating the operation of AACV directly.
