Government BAMS College in Mizoram

Government BAMS College in Mizoram is noticeably absent, leaving a large gap in the state’s educational landscape. Unlike many other states in India, Mizoram currently lacks both government and private Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) institutes. This absence raises worries about the availability of Ayurvedic education in the state, restricting prospects for local students who want to work in traditional medicine.

The lack of a government BAMS College in Mizoram, combined with the absence of private options, highlights the need for immediate attention from educational authorities. Establishing such an institution could help to bridge the educational divide while simultaneously preserving and promoting Ayurveda in the region.
