Rehbar Ayurvedic & Unani Tibbbi Medical College was established by the Rehbar Foundation (Regd.) and was founded in 2008 by a group of well-known Doctors, Educators, and Social Figures who were inspired by a strong sense of social responsibility and commitment.
Apart from the social commitments involved in aims and objectives, the societyās ultimate goal is to establish educational institutes to cater to the drastic and challenging needs of the Minorities and other Weaker Sections of Society.
With a vision to meeting the needs of the region and contributing to the development of Medical, Nursing, and Health Education in Punjab, the Foundation established āRehbar Institute of Medical Sciences at Bhawanigarhā in 2008-09 with D.Pharmacy (Ayurvedic) and added GNM & ANM courses in 2009-10, and Rehbar Ayurvedic Unani Tibbi Medical College in 2013.
The Foundation is working to provide remarkable health services to the poor and downtrodden strata of society, particularly those in rural Punjab, in order to fulfill the Foundationās core goal of social welfare and responsibility. The Foundation has organized free medical check-up camps in various villages throughout the area, as well as free medicines for needy patients.
