Cutoff

Qualification:
To apply, applicants must have passed the 10+2 exam or an equivalent examination from a recognized educational institution.
Applicants must have a minimum of 50 % marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as required subjects, with 40 % marks for SC/ST applicants and 45 % marks for PWD students.   • A candidate will be eligible for admission to BAMS/BIIMS Courses in Govt./Govt. Aided Ayush Colleges and Open Merit Category (State Quota) Seats in Private Ayush Colleges –

i. If he/she is an Indian citizen. 

ii. Candidates who are genuine Haryana residents as per instructions issued by the Chief Secretary to the Government of Haryana and who/whose parents produce(s) Haryana Residence Certificate as per Government instructions given in Annexure — IX, X, XI (A, B, C, D, E) or any modification issued by the competent authority from time to time. 

iii. All candidates (General/SC/D-SC/BC-A/BC-B/Benchmark disabilities/EWS/ESM/IT) desiring admissions in any category of seats must meet the minimum eligibility criteria/ qualifications/ qualifying criteria as prescribed in the information bulletin for national Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) issued by NTA for the Academic year 2023-24 and as per NCISM/NCH, New Delhi regulations issued from time to time. No candidate who does not meet the minimum eligibility marks will be admitted to BAMS/BHMS courses. 

iv. In the case of Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College Chandigarh, all candidates from various reserve categories would be required to submit the relevant documents issued by the relevant competent authorities. 

  • Candidates from all over India will be eligible for the Management category, regardless of their state of domicile or place of study. 

Note: At the time of document verification, the candidate must bring all relevant certificates/documents, in original, as per Annexure-X11, or their candidature will not be considered for admission to the BAMS/BHMS course. Photocopies of certificates/documents that have been attested will not be accepted for admission.

Admission to NRI Category (NR1s/PlOs/OCIs/Foreign Nationals) 

All admissions under the NRI category will be based on NEET-2023 merit.

Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and Foreign Nationals who are NEET qualified can also apply under the NRI category; however, Foreign Nationals will be considered only for any vacant seat left after the list of NRIs/P1Os/OCIs has been exhausted.

Admission Process 

The Governor of Haryana is pleased to announce the admission procedure, in supersession of all previous notifications, to be followed for admission to Under Graduate Courses, i.e. BAMS/BHMS, in all Government/Government Aided/Private Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic Institutions under Shri Krishna AYUSH University Kurukshetra, for Academic Session 2023-24 in the State of Haryana, including those under Private/Deemed Universities (SGT University, Guru (Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College).

Candidates must pay the fee online (via the link https://skau.online-counselling.co.in/) to the Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra at the time of enrolment, or their admission will be revoked. The candidates’ personal appearance at the time of joining and document verification at the concerned allotted college is required.

Any order of the Supreme Court/Punjab and Haryana High Courts/Amendments made by the State Government/India Government/Ministry of AYUSH, GOI/NCISM (CCIM) shall be applicable at any stage.

In the future, if there is a discrepancy or a report of a fake document, both the student and the college will be held accountable for the cancellation of admission. The fee will be forfeited, and the seat will remain unfilled. 

Any admission made at the state level by any private BAMS/BHMS college/institute affiliated with a private university shall be deemed invalid and shall be considered null and void.

Choice Preference:

e.) Allotment of the course/institution shall be made strictly on the basis of merit prepared/drawn on the basis of merit of NEET-UG-2023, and the candidate’s choice/preference of the course/institution filled out on the online portal shall be considered final.

f.) Read these points carefully before filling out the choices/preferences — 

i) Before filling out the choices/preferences, first separate the Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic Colleges.

ii) Only one private Homoeopathic College is involved in this counseling (J. R. Kissan Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Rohtak). The rests are government/government-aided/private/private (deemed) universities and ayurvedic colleges.

iii) Separate government/government-aided/private/private (deemed) universities and colleges.

iv) Examine their tuition fees 

v) Examine the Institute’s location

vi) There are two colleges that are exclusively for female students. The rest are all co-ed. Consider this before filling out the form.

vii) You are not required to fill out all of the colleges on your list of choices/preferences. Only one college must be filled out. Everything else can be filled to your liking.

Seat Allotment/ Merit list – The final number of seats in each course/institute under each category will be posted on the Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra website (www.skau.ac.in).

1st & 2nd Round

If there are any vacancies after the first round of counseling, they will be filled during the second round of counseling.

a.) New registrations will be permitted for participation in the second round. Fresh candidates must register on the admissions web portal, along with the registration fee mentioned above. Candidates are advised to check the Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra website (www.skau.ac.in) and the admission web portal for updates on a regular basis.

b.) Candidates who have already registered for the first round and wish to participate in the second round are not required to re-register. However, they must express their willingness/option to participate in the second round of counseling online by filling out the College/course selection form again.

c.) Candidates who joined the allotted seat in the first round shall have the right to retain that seat, which shall be changed only if he/she receives an updated and opted seat in the second round. Candidates who wish to participate in the second round of counseling, however, must resubmit their college choices/preferences. Candidates who were assigned a seat (College) in the first round should provide new choices in order of preference for the College/course in which they wish to advance.

d.) Candidates who wish to participate in the second round of counseling and choose State Quota Seats in Shri Krishna Govt. Ayurvedic College, Kurukshetra & MSM Institute of Ayurveda, Khanpur Kalan, Gohana, Sonepat shall be required to submit Rs.5,000/- (Rs.2500/- for SC/D-SC/BC/EWS/PWD/ESM/FP of the State of Haryana (*if applicable)), as Security Fee at the time of fresh registration/choice filling for 2″ round of counseling.

If the candidate wishes to apply for State Quota Seats in Government as well as State Ouota Seats/Management Quota Seats in Private HAMS/811MS Institutes/Universities, he/she must pay Rs.50,000/- as a Security Fee when registering for the second round of counseling.

If a candidate does not pay the required Security Fee, he or she will be ineligible to participate in the second round of counseling. This amount will be ADJUSTED in the first year course fee if the candidate joins the allotted seat; the security money will be FORFEITED if a candidate who has been allotted a seat does not join the respective institution or surrenders the seat due to any unforeseen reason before and after joining. The Security Money will also be forfeited if the admission is canceled for any reason on the part of the student. i.e. if the candidate provides incorrect information at the time of registration, a seat may be allotted and later canceled by the Admission Authorities at the time of reporting, or if the candidate fails to produce the required documents at the time of admission (within the stipulated time) and is REFUNDED (after following the refund process) if no seat is allotted.

g.) The security money mentioned in d.) will be FORFEITED if a candidate who has been assigned a seat does not join the respective institution or surrenders the seat for any unforeseen reason before or after joining. Furthermore, the Security Money will be forfeited if the admission is canceled for any reason on the part of the student. i.e., if a candidate provides incorrect information at the time of registration, resulting in a seat being allotted and later canceled by the Admission Authorities at the time of reporting, or fails to produce the required documents at the time of admission (within the stipulated time), they will be eligible to participate in the mop-up round.

h.) If seats remain vacant after the two rounds of counseling, they will be filled through a Mop-Up Round as directed by the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India/NCISM/State Government and as notified schedule by SKAU, Kurukshetra.

i.) Candidates who accept the seat assigned to them during the first or second round of All India Counseling/State Counseling are ineligible to participate in the Mop-up Round.

j.) New registrations will be permitted for participation in the Mop-up round. Fresh candidates must register on the admissions web portal, along with the registration fee mentioned above. Candidates are advised to check the Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra website (www.skau.ac.in) and the admission web portal for updates on a regular basis.

Mop-Up Round

k.) Candidates who have already registered for the first or second round and are eligible to participate in the Mop-up round according to the conditions laid out and wish to participate in the Mop-up round are not required to register again. They must, however, express their willingness/option to participate in the Mop-up round of counseling online by re-entering their choices/preferences. 

V. Seats remaining vacant under State Quota Seats in Private Colleges/Universities after two rounds of Counseling will be convened to Management Category seats and filled on the basis of All India Merit of NEET-2022 as directed by the State Government and Shri Krishna AYUSH University Kurukshetra. 

VI. Shifting to other institutes would be permitted only in the second round of counseling and not thereafter. 

VII. No candidate would be permitted to participate in Mop up round counseling if he/she has already taken admitted to any other institute under this University counseling,/All India Counseling. If such candidates wish to participate in mop-up round counseling, they must first have their admission canceled (with documentary proof) before proceeding with mop-up round counseling; otherwise, their Security Fees (mentioned in point IV d) paid to the University will be forfeited. Candidates who want to participate in the Mop-up round of counseling, on the other hand, will have to resubmit their preferences. 

VIII. Candidates who wish to participate in the mop-up round of counseling and choose State Quota Seats in Government/Government Aided Ayurvedic Institutes must pay Rs.5,000/- Rs.2,500/- for SC/D-SC/BC/EWS/PWIYESWFF* of the State of Haryana (*if applicable) as Security Fee at the time of fresh registration/choice filling for the Mop-up round of counseling. If the candidate wishes to apply for State Quota Seats in Government as well as State Quota Seats/Management Quota Seats in Private BAMS/BIIMS Institutes/Universities, he/she must pay a security fee of Rs.50,000/- at the time of fresh registration/choice filling for the Mop-up round of counseling. If a candidate fails to deposit the required security fees, he or she will be ineligible to participate in the mop-up round of counseling.

This amount will be ADJUSTED in the first year course fee if the candidate joins the allotted seat; the security money will be FORFEITED if a candidate who has been allotted a seat does not join the respective institution or surrenders the seat due to any unforeseen reason before and after joining. The Security Money will also be forfeited if the admission is canceled for any reason on the part of the student. i.e. if the candidate provides incorrect information at the time of registration, a seat may be allotted and later canceled by the Admission Authorities at the time of reporting, or if the candidate fails to produce the required documents at the time of admission (within the stipulated time) and is REFUNDED (after following the refund process) if no seat is allotted.

IX. All private Ayurvedic/Homoeopathic Institutes whose Counseling will be under the supervision of Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra, will be required to pay a processing fee for Counseling of Rs. 2000/- per sanctioned intake of seats via Demand Draft in favor of Registrar, Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra, payable at Kurukshetra, 10 days before the start of the Counseling.

STRAY VACANCY ROUND

If seats remain unfilled after the three rounds of counseling, they will be filled through the Stray Vacancy Round. 

The DCC accepts no responsibility for any allotment made during the Stray Vacancy Round and will not be held liable for any incorrect or incorrect allotment. 

All registered candidates who were not allotted/did not join/left after joining any seat in the first, second, third, or mop-up rounds are eligible for the stray vacancy round. 

There will be no online new candidate registration in the Stray Vacancy Round. On the day of the stray vacancy round, candidates must be physically present, along with their original documents and the full tuition fee (accepted in both offline and online modes). On the day of the stray vacancy round, the final merit list of online registered candidates will be displayed at 01:00 PM in the SKAU, KKR campus. Candidates will be invited based on their merit and will be asked to select their preferred college/course, and seats will be assigned based on availability. All candidates’ documents must be physically verified by the College Authorities in accordance with the Admission Committee of SKAU, KKR. Candidates must be physically present at the College during the admission/document verification process. In the absence of the Candidate, any Authorized Person will not be entertained. 

A) If any seats remain vacant, they will be filled by candidates who register offline in the registration form available on campus on the day of the stray vacancy round between 09:00 am and 12:00 noon. 

B) If necessary, the merit list will be displayed on the same day at 4:00 p.m. 

C) After that, all other formalities will be completed. 

FINAL STRAY VACANCY ROUND

If seats remain vacant after the Final Stray Vacancy Round of counseling, they will be filled through the IInd Final Stray Vacancy Round. 

The DCC accepts no responsibility for any allocation made in the IInd Final Stray Vacancy Round and will not be held liable for any incorrect or incorrect allocation. 

All registered candidates who were not allotted/did not join/left after joining any seat in the 1st/2nd/3rd or Mop-up Rounds/Stray Vacancy Rounds/Final Stray Vacancy Round are eligible for the IInd Final Stray Vacancy Round only. 

There will be no online new candidate registration in the IInd Final Stray Vacancy Round. On the day of counseling, candidates must be physically present along with their original documents and the full tuition fee (accepted in cash and in the form of a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of the Registrar, Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra, payable in Kurukshetra). On the day of the stray vacancy round, the final merit list of online registered candidates will be displayed at 01:00 PM in the SKAU, KKR campus. Candidates will be invited based on their merit and will be asked to select their preferred college/course, and seats will be assigned based on availability. All candidates’ documents must be physically verified by the College Authorities in accordance with the Admission Committee of SKAU, KKR. Candidates must be physically present at the College during the admission/document verification process. In the absence of the Candidate, any Authorized Person will not be entertained.

These must be produced in original, along with two sets of self-attested photocopy, If the students have already deposited the original documents in another institute/college, he/she must produce the receipt of that institute/college regarding documents along with an undertaking to submit the original document within a time frame determined by the concerned allotted college.

  • Candidates for PwD seats must present a relevant certificate of Benchmark disability issued by an institution listed in Annexure-VI of the notification. 
  • The candidate must submit an affidavit stating that he or she is not pursuing a UG (BAMS/BHMS) course in any institute in India.

Remember that – a) If any discrepancy/false statement in the candidate’s documents is discovered later at any stage, his/her admission will be canceled. b) If a dispute/issue arises, the decision of the relevant college admission committee shall be final.
