BAMS Colleges in Bihar: There are eight BAMS colleges in Bihar, with the majority of them being privately aided. The state also has government colleges, but they are all concentrated in and around Patna. As per the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), there are 02 Government BAMS Colleges with 95 seats and 08 private BAMS Colleges with a total of 490 seats in Bihar. 

AYUSH Counselling process is essential for securing admission to BAMS colleges in Bihar. Students with an eligible NEET exam score can be admitted through counselling in these colleges. Bihar AYUSH Counselling will be conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board for admission in 85% of seats in government BAMS colleges and 100% of seats in private BAMS colleges. The remaining 15% of seats in government colleges will be managed by the AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC).

Note: All candidates must take admission on their upgraded seats in the 3rd Round from Round 1 & 2 admitted seats. Such candidates, if not joined in the upgraded seats, are ineligible for any further AYUSH counselling (Central/State/UT/Central Pool Quota) and their security money will be forfeited.

Refundable Security Fee

The refundable security fee will be refunded to candidates after joining the allotted college within the stipulated time mentioned in the schedule. If a candidate does not get any seat during all rounds of counselling, the security fee will be refunded to the bank account provided by the candidate at the time of registration for AACCC-UG counselling.
