Vishnu Ayurveda College Shoranur was founded in 2002 and is located in Kulappully, Palakkad District, 4 kilometres from the Shoranur railway station. It is located on the grounds of Vishnu Pharmaceuticals and Nursing Home, which was founded in 1991.
Dr. P Ramachandran Nair, a remarkable visionary, made the Visnu Ayurveda College a reality. He is a well-known ayurvedic practitioner and researcher. He works relentlessly for the organization’s high standards and quality, with a strong futuristic vision.
This college has been accredited by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine, which is part of the Ministry of AYUSH in the Government of India. Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur, is connected with the college. Vishnu Ayurveda College is now regarded as one of the greatest ayurvedic institutes in India.
The college campus spans 10.73 acres on the major road side of the Palakkad-Pattambi road, one kilometre from the Kulappully bus stop and four kilometres from the Shoranur bus stop and railway junction.
