Telangan AYUSH counselling is an important process for securing admission into AYUSH courses in the state. The counselling is categorized into two main types based on the overseeing authority and the quota of seats being filled. AACCC conducts counselling for 15% seats in government AYUSH colleges and State counselling authority conducts counselling for 85% seats in government AYUSH colleges and 100% seats in Private colleges in Telangana.
Counselling Registration Process – State Quota
Step 1: Mobile and Email Registration
- Visit the Official Website: Open the Telangana AYUSH Counselling website https://www.knruhs.telangana.gov.in/
- Monitor Settings: Ensure your monitor resolution is set to 1920 x 1080 pixels for the best viewing experience.
Begin Registration:
- Click on the “Mobile and Email Registration” link on the homepage.
- Enter a valid and working Mobile Number and Email ID. These will be used for sending OTPs at various stages of the registration process.
OTP Verification:
- You will receive OTPs on your registered Mobile Number and Email ID.
- Enter these OTPs to verify your Mobile and Email ID.
Validation:
- Click on the “Validate” button.
- If the details and OTPs are correct, you will see a success message, and you can proceed to the registration form.
Step 2: Candidate Registration (Payment of Fee)
Registration Form:
- Fill in the required details in the registration form.
- Click on the “Validate” button to proceed to the payment gateway.
Payment Process:
- A payment reference number will be generated.
- Select your mode of payment and proceed with the payment.
- The registration fee varies depending on your caste category. Please check the eligibility conditions mentioned in the prospectus before making the payment as it is non-refundable.
- After successful payment, you will receive a registration number via SMS and Email. Note this number for future correspondence.
- Do not refresh or close the page until you receive a “Successful Payment” message.
Step 3: Updating of Data

- Click on the “Validate” button to access the application form.
Application Form:
- Fill in the required details in the application form.
- Upload your Passport Size Photo and Signature (ensure the scanned images are less than 100 KB and in JPEG or JPG format).
Save and Exit:
- Click on “Save and Exit” to save the entered data.
- You can repeat this process using the “Data Updation” link on the homepage until all your data is correct.
Step 4: Uploading of Certificates
Upload Documents:
- Click on the “Upload Certificates” button to attach the required documents.
Final Submission:
- After uploading all the necessary certificates, click on “Save and Print”.
- Take a printout of your filled application form for further assistance.

Admission Rules & Counselling Process – State Quota
- Admission Rules
- Downloading Allotment Letter: After paying the university fee of Rs. 8,000/- via payment gateway, download the allotment letter from the website.
- Submission of Documents: Submit the printout of the filled-in online application form and original certificates, along with one set of self-attested copies, to the Principal of the allotted college at the time of joining for final verification. Any discrepancy will result in the cancellation of the provisional allotment order.
- Affidavit Requirement: Submit an affidavit on Rs. 20/- stamp paper by the parent and candidate, stating the authenticity of caste and area certificates, at the time of admission.
- Merit Lists
- Final Merit List: The final merit position will be determined by NEET-UG-2024 scores and eligibility criteria. The university will release the final merit list of eligible candidates after verifying original certificates.
- Certificate Uploading: Candidates must upload original certificates online along with the application. Submit one set of the printout of the application form, original certificates, and self-attested copies at the allotted college at the time of admission.
- Counseling
- Provisional Merit List: A provisional final merit list will be displayed on the KNRUHS website after scrutiny of original certificates and application. Notifications for exercising web options will be issued on the KNRUHS website. No individual communication will be sent.
- Allotment of Seats Allotment of seats will be done through web counseling by the Committee of Admissions based on the web options and merit of the candidates.
- Admission Process
Joining the College: Selected candidates must join the college within the specified date, submitting all original certificates, bond, and paying the tuition fee as fixed by the Government. Failure to report within the specified time will result in automatic cancellation of admission.
- Additional Rules
- University Fee: Candidates must pay a university fee of Rs. 8,000/- through the payment gateway to obtain the allotment letter.
- Tuition Fee: The tuition fee will be as notified by the Government of Telangana.
- Discontinuation Fee: Candidates cannot discontinue the course after the final round of web counseling or the last date of free exit. If they do, they must pay a bond amount of Rs. 1,00,000/-.
