Minority Educational Society was founded in 1971 north of Saraimeer town in the district of Azamgarh (U.P.) with the sole purpose of extending educational facilities, both technical and non-technical, to the Muslim-Minority Community, particularly those living in the vicinity.
In keeping with this goal, the society established Ibn-e-Sina Tibbiya College in 1980, on the occasion of the 1000th anniversary of the great Muslim Scholar Sheikh-ur-Rais Ibn-e-Sina (980 A.D.), in recognition of his Tibbi education and invaluable contributions to the cause of promoting Greeko-Arab medicine.
