AYUSH Counseling process is essential for securing admission in BUMS colleges in Sikkim. Students with an eligible NEET exam score can take admission through counseling in these colleges. Sikkim AYUSH Counseling will be conducted by the Govt. of Sikkim Human Resource Development Department for admission in 85% seats in government BUMS colleges and 100% seats in private BUMS colleges. Sikkim AYUSH Counselling

Sikkim AYUSH counselling is an important process for securing admission into AYUSH courses in the state. The counselling is categorized into two main types based on the overseeing authority and the quota of seats being filled. AACCC conducts counselling for 15% seats in government AYUSH colleges and State counselling authority conducts counselling for 85% seats in government AYUSH colleges and 100% seats in Private colleges in Sikkim. 

Counselling Process – State Quota

Step 1: Registration

Step 2: Document Verification

  • Visit the designated verification centers to have your documents verified.

  • Access the online portal and fill your choices of courses and institutions based on your preferences.
  • Prioritize your choices carefully, considering seat availability and eligibility criteria.

Step 4: Seat Allotment

  • The counseling authority evaluates your filled choices, merit, and seat availability.
  • Seat allotment is conducted based on these factors.
  • Check the allotment results on the official website using your login credentials.

Step 5: Reporting and Admission

  • If you are allotted a seat, report to the designated institution within the specified time frame.
  • Carry the required documents, including the allotment letter, original certificates, and prescribed fees.
  • Complete admission formalities, including document verification, fee payment, and form submission.

Step 6: Second Round of Counseling (if applicable)

  • If there are vacant seats or if you wish to upgrade your allotted seat, participate in the second round of counseling.

Step 7: Joining and Commencement of Classes

  • After completing the counseling process and admission formalities, join the respective institution.

Note: It is mandatory for all candidates to take admission on their upgraded seats in the 3rd Round from Round 1 & 2 admitted seats. Such candidates, if not joined in the upgraded seats, are ineligible for any further AYUSH counseling (Central/State/UT/Central Pool Quota) and their security money will be forfeited.

Refundable Security Fee

The refundable security fee will be refunded to candidates after joining the allotted college within the stipulated time mentioned in the schedule. If a candidate does not get any seat during all rounds of counseling, the security fee will be refunded to the bank account provided by the candidate at the time of registration for AACCC counseling.
