Dr Yaduvir Sinha Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital was established on April 10, 1929, in Laheriasarai, Darbhanga and affiliated with Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University. Dr. Sinha dreamt of a model Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital to produce sincere practitioners of healing Art and established this Institution. He was a founding member of the Bihar State Board of Homoeopathic Medicine in Patna. He was a member of the Municipal Board of Darbhanga and had a strong interest in social work. He wrote forty Homoeopathic books in various languages.
The College owns approximately one acre of land on which the current College & Hospital building is located in Bakerganj, Laheriasarai, Darbhanga, and it also owns an additional 3:45 acres of land in Laheriasarai, Darbhanga. This is about a half-kilometre west of the college.
