BUMS Colleges in Bihar 2024

BUMS Colleges in Bihar: Bihar has approximately 5 Unani Medical Colleges. While the majority of Bihar’s BUMS Colleges are privately aided, the state also has one Government Unani College.

Because the majority of Bihar’s Top BUMS colleges are concentrated in and around Patna, the demand for good BUMS colleges in other parts of the state is growing.

What is the Unani system of medicine?

Unani medicine is one of the seven Ayush systems of alternative medicine that is thought to have originated in ancient Greece thousands of years ago but is now primarily practiced in India. This medical system focuses on disease prevention and treatment through the use of herbal remedies, dietary changes, and alternative therapies.

After Allopathy, Ayurveda, and Homoeopathy, it is the fourth most popular traditional and complementary system of medicine practiced in India. It works on the premise that the body has its own self-healing ability that needs to be enhanced.
