Vidya Vaibhav Shikshan Mandal, Bhandup in Mumbai Institute of Technology was founded in 1984. In a short period of time, the institute becomes well-known throughout Maharashtra. They are quite proud to announce that the institute has done remarkable work for society, particularly for economically disadvantaged individuals, in the fields of education, social, health, and sanitation in a very short period of time.
Since its inception, the institute has not looked back. The Board of Directors of the Sanstha is well aware that, even today, there are no competent Doctors available in many remote villages of Maharashtra State, and the poor people from these villages cannot afford the medical facilities available in big cities like Mumbai and Pune due to their economic backwardness.
Taking all of these reasons into consideration, the “Vidya Vaibhav Shikshan Mandal” opted to establish a Medical College in a rural location such as Dapoli Tahasil, which is medically underserved. We are really grateful to the Hon. Ex. Chief Minister Shri. Sharadraoji Pawar for granting us permission to establish the Dapoli Homeopathic Medical College. We are quite grateful to him.
Dapoli Homeopathic Medical College was founded in 1988 in Apti, Tal. Dapoli, Dist. Ratnagiri. The Medical College is located six kilometres from Dapoli in a mountainous section of the Konkan region, on the west coast, surrounded by rich greenery. Dapoli is roughly 230 kilometres from Mumbai and about 200 kilometres from college. The college has been approved by the National Commission For Homeopathy (NCH) New Delhi and is affiliated with the Government of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
