Dadra & Nagar Haveli Ayush Counselling 2022

Dadra and Nagar Haveli AYUSH counselling is an important process for securing admission into AYUSH courses in the state. The counselling is categorized into two main types based on the overseeing authority and the quota of seats being filled. AACCC conducts counselling for 15% seats in government AYUSH colleges and State counselling authority conducts counselling for 85% seats in government AYUSH colleges and 100% seats in Private colleges in Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

Counselling Process – State Quota

Step 1: Online Registration

  • The first step in the counseling process is online registration. Candidates need to visit the official counseling website (http://vbch.dnh.nic.in/)and create an account by providing essential personal details and contact information. It is crucial to ensure accurate and correct information during registration.

Step 2: Choice Filling

  • Once registered, candidates can log in to their accounts and access the choice filling section. In this step, candidates are required to select their preferred courses and colleges from the available options. The choices should be based on the candidate’s eligibility, interest, and career goals. It is advisable to carefully research the colleges and courses before making selections.

Step 3: Document Verification

  • After completing the choice filling, candidates need to physically visit the designated document verification center. This step is vital for verifying the authenticity of the information provided during online registration. Candidates must carry original documents and their photocopies, including academic certificates, identity proof, domicile certificate (if applicable), NEET scorecard, and other relevant documents as specified by the counseling authorities.

Step 4: Seat Allotment

  • The seat allotment process is a critical phase in the counseling process. The allocation of seats is based on various factors, including the candidate’s merit, choices filled, and the availability of seats in the preferred colleges. The allotment result is usually published on the official website, and candidates can check their allotment status using their login credentials.

Step 5: Acceptance of Seat

  • Once a seat is allotted to a candidate, they must accept or reject the allotted seat within the stipulated time frame. If the candidate accepts the seat, it indicates their willingness to join the college. On the other hand, if they reject the seat, it means they are opting out of the current round of counseling.

Step 6: Reporting to College

  • Candidates who have accepted the allotted seat must report to the respective college within the specified dates. Reporting to the college is a crucial step to complete the admission process formally. During reporting, candidates need to submit the required documents, pay the admission fee, and complete other necessary formalities as per the college’s guidelines.

Step 7: Second Round of Counseling (If Applicable)

  • In case there are vacant seats after the first round of counseling, a second round may be conducted. Candidates who did not get an allotment in the first round or opted for an up-gradation can participate in the second round. The process for the second round is similar to the first round, and candidates need to follow the steps mentioned above.

Step 8: Mop-Up Round (If Applicable)

  • If there are any remaining vacant seats after the second round, a mop-up round may be conducted as a final attempt to fill the seats. Eligible candidates who have not been allotted seats in the previous rounds can participate in the mop-up round.
