Assam AYUSH Counselling
Assam AYUSH counselling is an important process for securing admission into AYUSH courses in the state. The counselling is categorized into two main types based on the overseeing authority and the quota of seats being filled. AACCC conducts counselling for 15% seats in government AYUSH colleges and State counselling authority conducts counselling for 85% seats in government AYUSH colleges and 100% seats in Private colleges in Assam.
Counselling Process – State Quota
- Registration: Candidates must register on the official counseling website, providing personal details and educational qualifications.
- Choice Filling: After registration, candidates need to select their preferred AYUSH courses and colleges based on eligibility and interest.
- Document Verification: Candidates must attend the document verification process as per the scheduled date and time. Required documents include academic certificates, identity proof, domicile certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), and others.
- Merit List Publication: A merit list is prepared based on candidates’ preferences, merit in the qualifying examination, and entrance test (if applicable). The merit list, displaying the rank of each candidate, is published on the official website.
- Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on rank in the merit list, choices filled, and seat availability. The seat allotment process is conducted online, and candidates can view their allotted seats and download the allotment letter from the official website.

Refundable Security Fee
The refundable security fee will be refunded to candidates after joining the allotted college within the stipulated time mentioned in the schedule. If a candidate does not get any seat during all rounds of counseling, the security fee will be refunded to the bank account provided by the candidate at the time of registration for AACCC counseling.
