Arunachal Pradesh AYUSH Counselling

Arunachal Pradesh AYUSH counselling is an important process for securing admission into AYUSH courses in the state. The counselling is categorized into two main types based on the overseeing authority and the quota of seats being filled. AACCC conducts counselling for 15% seats in government AYUSH colleges and State counselling authority conducts counselling for 85% seats in government AYUSH colleges and 100% seats in Private colleges in Arunachal Pradesh.

Counselling Process – State Quota

Step 1: Registration: Candidates complete the online registration process on the official counseling website. They provide personal details, educational qualifications, and other necessary information. Upon successful registration, candidates receive a unique registration ID.

Step 2: Choice Filling: After registration, candidates fill in their preferred choices of AYUSH courses and colleges/institutions. They consider eligibility, interest, and seat availability while making choices. Candidates can prioritize preferences based on desired course and institution.

Step 3: Document Verification: Candidates attend the scheduled document verification process. They physically submit required documents, including academic certificates, identity proof, domicile certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), and others. The counseling authorities verify document authenticity.

Step 4: Merit List Publication: Once document verification is completed, a merit list is prepared based on candidates’ preferences and merit in qualifying examination and entrance test (if applicable). The merit list is published on the official website, displaying rank secured by each candidate. It serves as basis for seat allotment.

Step 5: Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on rank in the merit list, choices filled, and seat availability. Candidates can check allotment status and download provisional allotment letter from official website. The allotment letter contains information about allotted college and course.

Step 6: Reporting to Allotted College: Candidates allotted seats must physically report to respective college within specified time frame. They complete admission formalities, pay fees, and submit required documents for verification. Adhering to reporting deadlines is crucial to secure allotted seat.

Step 7: Upgradation and Second Round Counseling (if applicable): Additional counseling rounds may be conducted for seat upgradation or if vacant seats are available. Interested candidates register again and follow the process accordingly.
