Uttarakhand AYUSH Counselling

Uttarakhand AYUSH counselling is an important process for securing admission into AYUSH courses in the state. The counselling is categorized into two main types based on the overseeing authority and the quota of seats being filled. AACCC conducts counselling for 15% of seats in government AYUSH colleges and the State counselling authority conducts counselling for 85% of seats in government AYUSH colleges and 100% of seats in Private colleges in Uttarakhand.

Counselling Registration Process – State Quota

  • Go to uau.ac.in website and click on UAUC COUNSELLING UG-PG Online Portal 2024-25
  • Now Click on Registration/Login UG 2024-25 Button & Select Course – Under Graduate
  • After selecting the course, fill in all the fields – NEET Roll Number, NEET Application Number, Contact Number, Email Address and then click on Validate Registration Form – 3
  • After clicking on Validate, OTP sent popup will appear – and then click on ‘OK’ button
  • After clicking on OK, then showing OTP Textbox and enter your OTP has been sent to your Mobile number, then click on the submit button
  • After Submit OTP than select – Select Quota
  • After filling in all the mandatory fields, you will need to select the 10th and 12th passing state and 12th PCB percentage. Your eligibility will be checked based on that information.
  • After clicking on “Validate, ” you will see a popup that will inform you whether you are eligible or not. Later, you will need to click the “OK” button in the popup.
  • After clicking “OK,” a new form will open where you need to provide all the mandatory fields and attachments related to the 10th and 12th certificates. Additionally, you will
  • also need to provide your email address In addition to the above steps, you will also need to fill in your correspondence address and permanent address. After completing all these steps, you can click on “Pay Online
  • Now, You need to select the payment option – debit card, credit card or other
  • After that, you will receive an OTP on your phone, or if you have selected UPI, you will receive a payment message on your phone for verification.
  • After the payment is successful, you will see a payment success screen and you will also have the option to Download Application Form and Receipt

Counselling Process

General Instructions for Eligible Candidates

  • Registration Requirement: All NEET 2024 qualified eligible candidates must register to participate in counselling. Candidates who miss the 1st round can still register for the 2nd and 3rd/Mop-Up rounds by paying the required fee.
  • Eligibility: Only registered candidates can participate in a particular round of counselling.
  • Mandatory details include NEET 2024 Roll Number, NEET application number, and valid mobile number.
  • Counselling Rounds: Registration is available for each round as per the schedule. Candidates must register/upgrade and fill in their choices for each round. Spot registration is not allowed.
  • Reporting and Seat Allotment: If a candidate does not report to the allotted college in the 1st round, they can participate in the 2nd round but cannot claim the previous seat. If admitted in the 2nd round and want to resign, they must apply through the college Principal and report to the counselling board before the 3rd/Mop-Up round.
  • Upgradation and Choice Filling: Candidates allotted seats in Round 1 can opt for upgrade in Round 2. Choices should be filled out carefully as they cannot be altered once allotment is done. Fresh choices must be filled for each round.

Counselling Rounds

First Round:

  • Registration: Online registration and payment of the required fee.
  • Choice Filling: Fill choices based on preference and eligibility.
  • Allotment Letter: Available online; produced at the time of admission.
  • Admission: Secure admission before the last date, or the admission stands cancelled.
  • Upgradation: Option to participate in the second round for upgradation.
  • Security Fee: Deposit of Rs. 15,000 refundable after the last round if admission is taken.
  • Non-Joining: Security fee forfeited if the candidate does not join the allotted seat or provides wrong information.

Second Round:

Eligibility:

  • Group-I: Registered candidates not allotted seats in Round 1.
  • Group-II: Candidates who reported/joined in Round 1 and want upgradation.
  • Group-III: Candidates allotted seats but did not join.
  • Group-IV: New registrants.

Registration: New/Fresh registration and choice filling; already registered candidates opting for upgradation do not pay the fee again.

Resign/Surrender: Apply through the college principal before Mop-Up round.

Admission: Secure admission before the last date or the admission stands cancelled.

Security Fee: Same rules as the first round for fee forfeiture.

IIIrd/Mop-Up Round:

Eligibility:

  • New registrants.
  • Candidates registered but not allotted seats in Rounds 1 and 2.

  • Candidates who resigned/surrendered seats after admission and applied through the college principal.
  • Registration: Online registration to become eligible.

Stray Vacancy Round for Deemed UniversityAll registered candidates who have not been admitted to any of the seats through AACCC-UG counselling or counselling conducted by State/UTs are eligible for Stray Vacancy Round.AACCC, M/o Ayush will send a list of eligible registered candidates to Deemed Universities, which is to be exercised strictly in order of merit in the Stray Vacancy Round. Note: It is mandatory for all candidates to take admission on their upgraded seats in the 3rd Round from Round 1 & 2 admitted seats. Such candidates, if not joined in the upgraded seats, are ineligible for any further AYUSH counselling (Central/State/UT/Central Pool Quota) and their security money will be forfeited.

Refundable Security Fee

The refundable security fee will be refunded to candidates after joining the allotted college within the stipulated time mentioned in the schedule. If a candidate does not get any seat during all rounds of counselling, the security fee will be refunded to the bank account provided by the candidate at the time of registration for AACCC-UG counselling.
