What is Siddha?
The Siddha system of medicine, one of the seven Ayush systems, is a venerable, conventional medical system that has its roots in South Tamil Nadu. The word “Siddha” means “accomplishments,” and Siddhars—those who defeated death—preached the Siddha medical philosophy and the theory of immortality and had perfected the practice of medicine.
