About Siddha Medicine

Siddhars were spiritual adepts who wielded ashtasiddhis. Agastyar, also known as Agasthya, is credited with founding Siddha Medicine. There are eighteen Siddhars who are considered important in Siddha Medicine. Siddha medicine is said to resurrect and regenerate disease-causing organs while also balancing the Dosha ratio. Why Choose BSMS?

Siddha medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, and herbal medicine are just a few of the underdeveloped sectors which have recently risen to prominence. With several initiatives for the governance and development of the Ministry of AYUSH, the opportunities for employment following a BSMS degree are limitless.

Because the BSMS medical degree is still relatively new, many students are unfamiliar with its fundamentals and scope. In this area, alternative medicinal treatments, as opposed to allopathic approaches, have a lot of potential.

Siddha medicinal techniques and related fields are the focus of the BSMS program. The course covers microbiology, physiology, community medicine, dentistry, dermatology, gynecology, pediatrics, and other fields. In India, the BSMS course includes a thorough investigation of the subject as well as the formation of professional skills. After completing the BSMS program, Students could work as a pediatrician, dermatologists, doctors, physiologists, chiropractor, or obstetricians, among other professions.
