West Bengal AYUSH Counselling
West Bengal AYUSH counselling is an important process for securing admission into AYUSH courses in the state. The counselling is categorized into two main types based on the overseeing authority and the quota of seats being filled. AACCC conducts counselling for 15% of seats in government AYUSH colleges and the State Counselling Authority conducts counselling for 85% of seats in government AYUSH colleges and 100% of seats in Private colleges in West Bengal.

Online Registration, Application & Fee Payment
- Online Registration: Eligible candidates must register online on the official website https://wbmec.nic.in within the scheduled time frame.
- Filling Details: Candidates need to enter their Roll No, Application No, Name, Mother’s Name, and Date of Birth in the New Registration section. If the details match the records from NTA, the candidate can proceed with the registration.
- Application & Fee Payment: After successful registration, candidates must complete the application and pay the counselling fee online. Any errors in the application can be corrected until the fee payment is made. Post payment, no changes are allowed.
- Caste and EWS Status: Candidates must provide fresh details of their caste and EWS status. Those claiming OBC, OBC-A, or OBC-B categories need to submit a non-creamy layer certificate issued on or after 01.04.2023 by the respective authority. If not, they will be considered under the Unreserved category for seat allotment, except in central institutes if any in West Bengal.
- Payment Caution: Candidates are advised to verify their bank accounts before making another payment attempt if a transaction fails, as fees are non-refundable.
Step 2: Physical Document Verification
- Acknowledgement Slip: Post fee payment, candidates will receive an acknowledgement slip detailing the venue and date for physical document verification.
- Document Verification: Candidates must visit the designated venue on the given date with original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies for verification. After successful verification, a server-generated verified certificate will be issued.
Step 3: Choice Filling and Locking
- Login and Choice Filling: Verified candidates must log in to the system using their Roll No and Password to view and fill in their choice of courses and colleges.
- Choice Management: Candidates can manage their choices using options like move up, down, delete, interchange, and multiple deletions. Choices must be saved to be considered for allotment.
- Locking Choices: After arranging the choices, candidates must lock them with their password. If not locked, choices will be auto-locked by the system after the choice-locking period ends.
Step 4: Result Publication and Allotment
- Result Announcement: The allotment results will be published based on the candidates’ inter se merit, caste, PWD status, and category. Allotments are provisional.
- Final Document Verification: Allotted candidates must undergo another round of document verification at the allotted college within the stipulated time, providing original documents and paying the college fee to secure admission.
- Non-Eligibility and Non-Reporting: Candidates failing to present essential documents or who do not report to the allotted college within the given time will be considered non-eligible and excluded from further counselling rounds.
