Shivalik Ayurvedic Medical College is Azamgarh Commissioner’s first Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital. Its Medicinal Garden has a 2505sq.mt area and 342 medicinal plants. Shivalik Ayurvedic Medical College was founded in April 2012 near Bijarawa, Bankat, 6 kilometers from Azamgarh town on the Azamgarh-Gorakhpur route. In October 2014, it received LOP from the Government of India’s Department of AYUSH.
