Engineering counselling is open to candidates who have passed the Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main) or the Madhya Pradesh Pre-Engineering Test (MP PET).
Candidates for diploma counselling must have passed the 10th class examination with a minimum of 50% in aggregate.
Candidates who meet the specific eligibility requirements for the course to which they are applying are entitled for additional counseling.
Other prerequisites for admission to specific universities and courses may exist in addition to the aforementioned eligibility criteria. Some colleges, for example, may demand candidates to have a specific domicile status or to have passed specific topics in the 12th grade exams.
