The tie-breaking criteria of Madhya Pradesh Counselling (MP Counselling) are used to rank candidates who have the same merit rank.
In order of preference, the following tie-breaking criteria are used:
Age: The elder applicant will be given a better ranking. Biology grades: The candidate with the highest biology grades will be ranked first.
Chemistry grades: Candidates with higher chemistry grades will be ranked higher. Marks for physics: Candidates with higher physics marks will be ranked higher.
Negative mark total: The contender with the fewest negative marks will be placed higher.
If the tie remains unresolved, the candidate who completed the qualifying examination administered by a Madhya Pradesh board would be rated higher.
The tie-breaking rules for MP Counselling are intended to ensure that all qualified candidates are ranked.
