AYUSH counselling starts with NEET qualification, a mandatory step for eligibility in AYUSH courses like Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy.
The first stage is online registration through the AACCC portal. Candidates create an account and provide necessary details to begin the process.
Next is choice filling, where candidates select their preferred colleges and courses. They can modify their choices until they are satisfied with their selections.
Following choice filling, candidates must lock their preferences. This step finalizes their choices and prepares them for the seat allotment stage.
Seat allotment is based on NEET rank, preferences, and seat availability. The AACCC conducts multiple rounds to ensure a fair distribution of seats.
After allotment, candidates must report to the allotted college for document verification. Required documents include mark sheets, NEET scorecard, and identity proof.
State quota seats, managed by state authorities, comprise 85% of the total seats, while AACCC handles the remaining 15% All India Quota seats.
Finally, a mop-up round fills any remaining vacant seats. This stage ensures that all available seats are utilized effectively, providing maximum opportunities for candidates.
