In India, state-level AYUSH counselling is the main practise.
Each state has a separate AYUSH counselling organisation in charge of overseeing admissions to various AYUSH programmes offered there.
These organisations control all aspects of the counselling procedure, including registration, document inspection, seat assignment, and counselling sessions.
For admission to AYUSH colleges nationwide, the National Testing Agency (NTA) also administers national entrance tests, like as the NEET-UG for Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy programmes.
Through centralised procedures, national-level counselling may also be provided for some courses.
